For those saying what a silly place for the police to pull somebody over..did you not think that maybe the car had broken down and the police car was in the lane shielding the car from the traffic flow...hence the break down truck pulling up..the truck driver doing the hitting is at fault for not keeping a safe breaking distance..plus slight turn to the right would have put him in the hard shoulder/break down lane. @apharot He has a steering wheel, he should know how to use it. Most collision debris that makes it away from the vehicle is usually plastic. In rare instances, entire pieces are of course capable of detatching, but in this instance I saw only small fragments of what appeared to be black plastic fly into his lane. He could've worked his way around it with ease; he has more than enough room to maneuver any which way he likes.

A black car was broken down, and the officer was blocking the lane to prevent anyone from hitting it. The tow truck was there to take the broken down car away. The blue car slowed down, while the truck didn't. Truck first hit the blue car, then the cop car, and forced the cop car into the broken down black car.

I knew he was only working traffic because he was holding a radar gun out the window, and I saw 3 of them doing the same thing. Quite annoying actually.  Sorry, but yes, the cops do that as foolish as it might be.

@buggs428 Actually if you'll look closer you will see that the tow truck and the black sedan are both in the far right lane in travel, the police car is stopped in the right lane, the tow truck driver maneuvers left and before the black sedan can do the same, a clueless truck driver comes along at high speed and smashes the sedan and the police car. It looks to me like the police stopped suddenly and is the initial cause of the accident.

@allforever19 No, this is perfectly normal in Asia. Truck drivers in Asia are the lowest forms of human beings. Low education, no manners/courtesy, and think they own the road. What do they care if they run into you, you're dead. That's their mentality therefore their driving reflects it. What you saw here was the truck speeding in the right lane. I'm Taiwanese and currently live in Vietnam. It's same everywhere here. Truck drivers in US are by comparison, awesome.
