  • Fantastic share. I learned a lot.

  • I need a cool office now!!!

  • I use Linkedin, but nothing like this. I can see that you only get out of it what you put in!

  • Isn't that just life in general?? You put in what you get out!

  • I want on office like that one! Good to know what i should be doing.

  • Its amazing how every social network has its own way of interacting with other websites blogs and video websites and how they all completment each other

  • Yip...I agree

  • Thanks for the advice jax6992...looked into LinkIn and it seems an interesting network tool.

  • Linked in is a fantastic business tool, I have only discovered it in the last few months but think it is brilliant already!

  • Linkedin is huge.. I didn't realise how many millions of people there were on there...!

  • businesses needed to get into these new ways of promoting themselves.

  • Linkedin says it all. a whole new focus on social networking. Huge potential

  • Experienced advice well worth emulating.

    Krikus

  • I agree businessexpertandre, they will be missing out on a great opportunity if they don't get involved with social networks.

  • We're using LinkedIn more and more these days...it's a great concept.

  • nothing new. but, from the perspective of someone new (or who hadn't thought of doing something like this), what great information this would be. it would open your eyes to the possibilities that 'social' networking offers. i write 'social' because let's be honest this is really business, all people are doing is using the utilities currently existing that were developed for true social use.

  • So what kind of Picasa link would you be sending me, PP? :)

  • I think adding links in is a great idea.

  • yeah me too

  • Businesses that don't get to grips with social networks are shutting themselves out of a huge potential market.

  • the numbers say it all really.

  • I'm totally into LinkedIn too. Its a fantastic tool for clients to understand you and your business... that aside, I'm finding it more and more useful as a recruitment tool. Starting to find more and more employees rather than business owners on there now.

  • He knows what he is talking about.

  • he's a pretty slick operator me thinks - seems to have it all together and ticking over nicely

  • 15m is a massive reach when you consider its free

  • I remember when it took 2 years to download an image, Things sure have changes since my time.

  • Must make a huge difference now you can collaborate on your music projects over the web!

  • Links sure do give you an edge over a "run of the mill' email

  • I hear that lots of charities are now on the social networking bandwagon!

  • I like the use of links, they really help you get what you want quicker

  • Using modern technology gives your pitch the wow factor and makes people sit up and take notice

  • I agree, you really do take notice when things are new (and exciting obviously!)

  • I think showing potential clients you are using modern technology will make them more interested in you, rather than sending boring standard emails.

  • Depends what you do. A lot of businesses it doesn't matter. The client is just after what they want. They may have an interest in the process, but at the end of the day, only care about the results.

  • 'I tend to use quite a few links to create a lot of connectivity between the different networks... you can link to your website, you can link to your Facebook group, you can link to your YouTube videos'.

There is a big search benefit in creating all the links as well, I understand.

  • Pier Paolo puts forward some really interesting points in regard to social networks and some great pointers on how to go about social networks.

  • linking and interactivity between social media platforms is key.

  • It sure is. You can see that when you note who is getting good visibility online.

  • Pier sure is!

  • Sounds as though some businesses are all over social networking already!
