I miss those days in missouri. Almost every week in missouri you get a wake up call from the tv, the radio, or a friend down the street saying there's a tornado on the way keep your eyes open.
Incredible. I'm actually going to school in the fall to begin studying to become a meteorologist and all I've ever wanted to be was a storm chaser. People like you just inspire me all the more..that may be far off, but it's still beautiful and awe inspiring.
This video gives me alot of info on where it actually went through, i've been trying to pin point it's path for a week, with little success, due to the minimal amount of damage, as well as equivilant down draft damage in the surrounding area. I was shooting four miles straight south of the stand pipe water tower at the beginning of the video. keep up the good work and I wish I could join u guys out there.
Man! I'm from SW Missouri, this was right in my neighborhood! I was also in Independence on this day, and headed out at about 4 or 5pm, but instead just waited on the later storm cells to show up in SE KS. Wish I could have seen this one. Nice!
God this like so much fun! I live in Missouri btw
