If there was no other scene in the game that proved how much of a psychopath Mephiles is, it's definitely this scene right here. The guy just got blasted multiple times with a machine gun, and he laughed about it. What a masochist.

@JuliansMusicCore apparently he is facing the mephiles dat took the shpe of his body in the beginnin when shadow's shadow came to life (lol now i know why maphiles said fate is ironic in the beginning ... he was resurrected from shadow's shadow) .. because if he killed shadow in the past he wouldnt be alive rite now and shadow was time traveling alot making alternite shadows to take his place
