  • whats is a name of this music

  • @TheEmperor5200 It's the soundtrack of the movie "The Last Emperor"

  • whats is a name of this music because i'm lowe a China.

  • A very good video - it really shows us a lot of the Palace!

  • Nice video, to bad it was fucked up the the terrible aged film filter u used.

  • Many of these images look to be his house in Manchucoa.

  • it is - puyi lived in the Manchukuo Imperial Palace when he was the puppet emperor of the Great Empire of Manchuluo (he was mainly controlled by the Japanese and had little power, even though he was emperor)

  • Since that no one is living in Pu Yi's Palace, it is now a Museum, isn't it?

  • yup

  • @mjay22 That's right!

  • not bad,look quite classy

  • The background music is exquisite!

    What is this composition called?

  • This building was originally the headquarters of the government agency charged with collecting taxes on the salt trade. It was not originally designed to be a palace. In fact, the Japanese Army's HQ in the city was much more impressive than Pu Yi's residence. There was always an improvised, low-rent quality to the so-called Manchukuo Empire.

  • if i was him, i would've made them built me a palace like all his great-great-great-grandfathers palace when they ruled china. you are a emperor for once in your life, take advantage of your power and built something you can be buried in.

  • not as impressive as i thought it would be. some rooms and furniture even looked "ordinary."

  • nice work!

  • So much money, yet very isolated!

  • i prefer the forbidden city one thousend times this "palace" is a big mansion like others around the world, the forbidden city is unique.the palace is so creepy

  • When I get a home of my own, I think I'll base my interior design on the rooms of the Changchun palace.

  • that picture looks a little creepy ahaha, better hope that ghost aint the emperor

  • Actually it's pretty far. This Palace is in Changchun, about 10 hours by train (1Hr 25 mins by plane) from Beijing where the Forbidden city is=)

  • this is just so sad.

  • That is one great mansion, but I don't think it's fit to be called a 'palace'

  • I thought of the same thing actually. It's pretty small. There are tonz of rooms and in a big piece of land, but the rooms are real small. I guess that was a long time ago though=)

  • not just puyi's palace. Every emporer after Yongle (Ming) lived there

  • isnt that the forbidden city?, im sure the emperors have summerhouse but im sure that they only one palace. correct me if im wrong smurkledunk

  • When Puyi was the Emperor of China, he lived in the Forbidden City but he was forced to abdicte and the Republic of China was established. He went to live in a mansion in China and the Japanese offered to make him the ruler of Manchukuo (this was a puppet state they had set up in Manchuria, a region in northeast China, when they invaded it). After a short while, Puyi was made the Emperor of Manchukuo by the Japanese and he lived in this palace, although it wasnt as elegant as the Forbidden City.

  • Im pretty sure there is some ghosts in that house. those ghosts probably hate Hun Chinese people. they probably said ...How dare you guys got rid of our Emperor.. hehe hahah

  • Who lives in that grand and majestic little palace of the last emperor now? who ons it? who manage it?

  • Nobody lives there now. I believe by around 6pm the place closes (one of my friends said they were almost locked in). For some reason, the place is pretty creepy. The friend who accompanied me got cut in the bathroom and she said she felt there was a ghost inside her... if you believe in the supernatural that is;-)
