overrated? did anyone say anything about it being the best or perfect??? we never claimed to be. i's just a recording. i agree with sheisnotspecial. if you don't have anything constructive to say, don't say anything. my girlfriend is in the band at MSU. i have seen the drumline. jason baker has developed a great program up there, but that doesn't mean it is perfect. no one is. so just keep it to yourself. on another note, most of us are music majors, marching band is NOT our main focus focus.

You shouldn't skoff. It wasn't orchestral grip, it was a pistol grip used for the spins. I would switch between Garfield and pistol depending on what cadence we were playing.
