I used to see you at studio cafe in balboa, and always loved to watch your eyeballs roll back in your head while you ripped of killer leads, you've got an amazing talent bro! Good to see your still ripping heads!

This is awesome. I am always stunned by your playing, and I hope I might one day become as talented as you. There is one part of this video I need to ask you about. That strumming technique you use at 5:20, and the one following, have you made any videos demonstrating or teaching it? If not, could you please make one, as I really want to learn it.
That finger strumming I learned from a flamenco guitarist.; It's called RAUS-TI-A-THOUGH but i don't know how to spell it. My uncle was a flamenco guitarist as well and tried to teach this to me when I was eight years old. I never thought of using it in the blues till a flamenco lucci made fun of the way I strummed so I thought I'd show him I could do it his way as well even tough it's not traditional music. I love Paco De Lucia (sp?) but don't play much of that sort of thing. Thanks.....
I love your comping style around 1:10. I have trouble with my comping being too busy. (I play tenor sax in my school jazz band but guitar in a combo). Good job man. Props.
Johm it's always a pleasure to watch your vids. Nice playing, nice sound, and for this vid other good musicians too. This tune, and your sound reminds me to Duke Robillard. Is he one of you inspirators.
Keep on going man, this is far more better than all that shredding crap.
Very well done! Thanks for posting this - video and sound quality are great and the playing - well, in the words of a well known old time great, "What can I say besides Oh, wow, those boys sure know how to whoop-te-do-it.
nice tapping
