  • Actually, he's pantomiming to a field recording of monkeys throwing feces at a guitar. Another poseur hiding behind the scrim of " Art ". Those who can, do. Those who can't call themselves avant garde. This is why Hendrix threw up.

  • @coloneltruth1 and those who will never do anything post youtube comments. this is why albert ayler killed himself

  • @MickeyMacaroney sounds like you just proved your own point. The Albert Ayler name-check ? Ayler played in Little Walter's band; Chadbourne writes a review of a Little Walter album for AMG and spends the whole review talking about the cover artwork. What a phony.

  • @coloneltruth1 ahh ive been bested. it seems as if you are rubber, and i am the glue!!

  • You arrogant fools! Who are any you to comment on Dr. Chadbourne's guitar skills? Late in his career, and even on his deathbed, Les Paul expressed his admiration and admitted that this was what he was trying to do all along.... if only on a diminished scale, no less.

  • interesting... though it sounds a bit like a crossbreed between the title themes to spongebob and southpark to me (with a little bit of twilight zone mixed in...) :D no, just kidding, i dig! as i said, interesting stuff...

  • this stuff sucks ass

  • actually i rather liked it

some of the words i didn't understand

but i found some of the imagery quite effective

interesting rhythmic devices which seemed to counterpoint

the underlying metaphor of the humanity er vogonity of the poet's soul

  • mmmmmmm..... extended technique..

  • Like nothing I've heard before.

  • wow...i've often defended some music being called "just noise" but really, this is just noise

  • @mikethemotormouth fuck you

  • @rss313 um...how bout NO? i mean really do you have ears? do they work?

  • @mikethemotormouth Yes, and they're experienced beyond the average, melodic, short pop songs. Improv is a genre all its own. If you don't have the patience for it you're, well, you already admitted - one who thinks 'it's just noise'.

  • @rss313 oh don't get me wrong, i hate most pop and love all styles of free-form experimental music but it has to be pleasing to the ear and interesting to the mind, i get neither from this

  • @mikethemotormouth its his energy and sound that he makes.........though i think it must be seen as well as heard..translated into purely visual terms it's seemless abstract heart....i guess it helps that he can play a million real musics on guitar.

  • wish the goddamned music stand wasnt in the way!

  • The good dr. Better than a Dr House MD. :D

Listen to him, be cured from the MTV-Disease.

  • diobono
