I don't know what I saw first when i was born.... the debut of the new theme song or my mother's embracing smile, thats how entined I Love Lucy was in America. I love Lucy was Americana at its best. How we go from shows like that and Gunsmoke to idiotic brainwashing shows like The Real World, Jersey Shore, Family Guy is BEYOND me.

@chaswr It was colorized. The DVD: "I Love Lucy: The Movie and Other Great Rarities" featured a (rather well done) colorized version of Lucy Goes to Scotland. It's a great DVD release, especially for the movie.

@FlashMaster659 real. very real. this is "lucy goes to scotland" in color. colorized exactly how it was when it was taped 50-somethin years ago.

@jgknightboyz2000 Try "filmed", not "taped". Video tape was barely in its infancy when I Love Lucy started airing. Filming a show instead of doing it live was also very rare. Because they did it that way from the start, we have the entire series intact.
