I am (mainly) a Kirby/Lucas/Mario player, but I read these guides for 2 reasons. 1) Whenever my friends get mad at me for using the same character (but different strategies) repeatedly, I use the occasional Ike or Marth :) and 2) One of my better brawling friends commonly uses Ike, so reading up on this very well put together lets me see GREAT tactics, and allows me to see how to avoid them in the future. Ike is been one of my top 5 best characters (Fox, Zelda, Lucas and Ness) I have made some techniques on my own since I got brawl but now that I watched this it helped me to polish them, I would love to fight you one time! =D

Actually the Quick Draw recovery is not good because with precise timing the enemy can either be a meat shield, take your blow, and leave you falling, or altogether airdodge it and still leave you falling.

wen trying to do the spike @ 9:07 just try to stay near the edge and press like side and down and a on the nunchuk cuz if u just press down ur going to freefall to ur death try to push the analog to the side and down @ the same time :)

i play with wii remote+nunchuk, and have trouble with the tilt attacks, i frequently do a smash attack when i mean to do a tilt attack. any advice? oh and awesome guide, really well done and helpful, especially about the jabs.

Well, your fast-falling lol to not fastfall, (for start) run off the stage while holding the control stick diagonally down and then you can press down A for the spike x_O

@proven2flawless If you use wii and nunchk you can change configuration to make your own C stick in your D-pad and its much easier to peform the spike,you can also do the pivot grab much easier and dac as well
