Though I'm partial to the 1966 theme, the expansion of the incidental cue from the show for the film opening was sheer genius. Much better than the '67 theme (which was technically the first theme for The Saint to begin with).

Two of the double episodes: The Fiction Makers and Vendetta for the Saint were cut together and released as feature films.
