What I cant stand is the gormless twats who use the self service checkout and stand around looking hopeless when it says "approval needed". Instead of walking up to the assistant that they know is there and ask for help, they just stand around looking for a miracle. I also saw someone using the self service to buy a 32 inch flat screen TV.
There's a lot of people that are still reluctant to use self-service and I can understand why, it's mainly because there are so many seen struggling when using them and it seems to go wrong often, nobody likes to look daft in public I suppose, I reckon a lot more will begin to take the plunge once it starts to look easier and more straightforward, I mean it is easy really but it's the perception that needs to change, like a lot of technology today I suppose.
