Digimon Frontier - All Digivolutions

To be honest, THIS THEME is rather.... a bit of a techno, happy-go lucky kind of beat. Not in a bad way! But I just missed that sort of quieter, calm, and mystical kind of theme from the first 2 seasons. Its like "DUN DUN DUN DUN *trying to be suspensful and getting all BUFFED UP*" beat. When the Frontier dub version came out and I heard the transformation themes.... HOLY CRAP! It felt something quiet, yet, BIG WILL HAPPEN to these kids! IT BROUGHT THAT MEMORABLE EPICNESS like from the first 2!

@DeathclawXIII It wasn't until they made 2/3rds of the primary cast useless that Frontier went downhill. I could have even forgiven that if after being upgraded TWICE Takuya and Koji could have won a fight or two against the Knights. It didn't, hence the hate.

Frontier would've been redeemable had they made each character reach Fusion Spirit evo's imho. Yet in itself, Fusion evolving makes no sense if all it's doing is mocking the Ancient Spirits. Oh, the shame of this season... :(.

Hahaha I watched like the first minute of this and laughed at how cutesy Takuya sounds and how deep Koji's voice was. It's WAYYYYYYY different then the english voices where they are pretty equal on how deep their voices are XD

They SORTA redeemed themselves with the final battle where everyone became Susanoomon together, though.

Especially Takeru's, who was literally so broken that they had to delay him until AFTER Myotismon went down, because we all know MagnaAngemon would have wrecked Myotismon in five seconds flat. Not to mention Kari. Hell, the moment Gatomon started digivolving, Myotismon freaks out because he KNOWS he's done for.

I actually really liked this season. I think why people dislike it is because it was different from the first 2 seasons. I think everyone was looking for the "trainer & pet monster" type relationship. I like how they pushed the boundaries in the whole fighting style. At least the digi destines do something unlike the first two where they just emote and watch their digi partners fight. I also loved the kick as* intro song. Also I know this was way better than that Digimon Data Squad Sh*t -_-

I've always loved this Digimon series. This one, and the one with Agumon (sp?) and the trainer Takato. I've always wanted to turn into a digimon myself, so this is an amazing series.

Personally I prefer the dub music for the digivolutions.

As for the season itself, I was pleasantly surprised by this one. Like many have said it was a different take on a formula that just worked and was exciting to watch. I haven't seen Xros Wars yet but I'm dubious to the fact that it's all about leading of armies and whatnot which I think contradicts the spirit of the entire series but I s'pose I'll see when I watch it.

Great designs in this particular season too!

I watched Frontier last (I watched 1-3, then I saw an alphebetical order list XD) abd in this case, last is CRETINLY not least. Its my favourite season and it has my favorite character of all time, Koichi. I LOVE FRONTIER!!!!!!

I love digimon frontier. I know that it was the 4th series of digimon, but the first digimon series that I ever saw. When I found out that there were other series, I thought, "Wait, the kids don't change into digimon? That's weird...." When I found out that humans didn't originally digivolve into digimon, I had the feeling of "Well, I smart" in my head. But I LOVE DIGIMON FRONTIER! It is AWESOME!

I always liked this one, until I saw how everyone complained... I still don't see what's wrong with it. Of course, you don't get to see the same relationship between tamers and the digimon but it's still very touching. The first season was my favorite and this one is my second favorite.

The kids becoming Digimon...didn't really seem all that right. It was more remniscient of a mecha/powersuit/borderline magical-girl anime than a Digimon season to me.

Frontier doesn't deserve all the complaints it gets. Great series, good plot and The fact that They turned into digimon Does not make it bad. It adds a different perspective to the overall digimon universe by posing the question, "What would you do if you could turn into a digimon?" Those who don't like diversity go back to pokemon. You need to catch up on pikachu not evolving or Ash not winning a championship.

@DeathclawXIII Actually, if you think about it, it makes sense that they are able to evolve into Digimon. When humans are in the digital world, they're data (thus why they have a digi-code in Digimon frontier). If something in the Digital world is data, it is able to evolve.

It had the worst plot, crappy digimon designs (except Veemon's forms AND Stingmon) killed of the only great new character it had (Blackwargreymon). It had the stupidest finale and the shittest villains. Let's face it after the Digimon Emporer section of that season ended it turned crap and stayed that way. Don't hate on Frontier and Xros wars for trying new things rant over

It was still a good show, had a good plot, the single best villains in the series period, some kickass digimon designs and the 2nd best soundtrack in the series. Xros wars again simply tries something by having the humans weild a small army of Digimon instead of just. It started off slow but has gotten fucking fantastic lately. Doing something new does not kill it

@iceonightmares No, it's different. There are no Rookies (except Takuya, who became Flamemon/Flamon). Human Spirit - Champion, Beast Spirit - Ultimate. They don't have a defined Mega in the anime, but the Original Legendary Warriors were the Mega forms.

Yes, buit up till this point the kids were basically just batteries for the digimon. It started in this series that the kids werent just targets for the badguys, and could fight for themselves. Its actaually why marcus from season 5 is the greatest of all digidestined because he actually can still fight, even after the enemies are mega. It was nice to actually see the humans do something other then cheer lead once the fight started
