  • I didn't know you had another cooking video! I like this recipe! The haters need to take a nap, lol! Anywho, my Mom use to brown chicken the same way when I was growing up. I have some chicken I cut up and seasoned in the freezer.. I might do this and post a response. I'm sure dinner was yummy:) btw, i use to add water to my food too; I would be annoyed when my Mom didn't have to, lol! Now I don't. I guess the secret is frying the onions first and then adding the meat; keeps it moist:)

  • I'm trinidadian but been living in america almost my entire life. I tried cooking this today but it taste so bitter, what did i do wrong?

  • @Suebaruu i think you might have burnt the sugar too long,as soon as it starts to bubble and turn black in colour,trow in your meat.

  • can u use browning sauce rather than the sauga &oil? Also what type of sugar did u add? Was it brown suga or white caster sugar?

  • Yes i believe you can use browning sause (i add it when the meat don't get brown as i want it, it happens lol) instead. I used brown sugar. (white granulated sugar can be used as well.

  • Just to say don't mind nobody bout your dutch pot. There is no West Indian household that does not have at least one dutchie in their cupboard. The one I use my mum was using from I was a child, so you can imagine how it BLACK LIKE TAR!!!! Going to do a chicken curry tomorrow using the Trini browning technique also going to try my hand at making some Roti: )

  • Ok so i've seen some stew Chicken efforts on here, but nothing come close to this. Color was amazing, looked well seasoned. Good job. 10 out of 10.

    By the way, I'm a trini Carribean chef, so i know my dishes
