With regards to this tune "Footsteps in the dark" I hunted down the album and eventually found the album in a second hand record shop - the album is called "Go for you guns".

But when Ice Cube bought out the single called its been a "Good DAY" with that video. It just made it even better, or made the record sound even better.

How did they thing up of a bassline like that. I mean its not that difficult to play, but its so hypnotic together with the drum beat and the guitar. Wow!

Released in 1977 on the "Go for you Guns" album. I was just too young in regards to going out and buying my own records to get this the first time around. However, I did pick it up through listening to my Aunties albums say around the early 1980's etc etc...

I couldn't believe it when first heard "Between the sheets" first time around. I went out and bought the album as soon as I heard it. With regards to this song. I just couldn't find the album in my home town of Ipswich at the time.

This song takes me back to 1976. I saw the Isley Brothers in concert at the Coliseum in Jackson, Mississippi. They were spectacular! The weather was terrible. It was storming, raining cats and dogs, but, it didn't matter. Everybody in the place was high mostly from the brothers' music : ) Needless to say, this was an event of a lifetime. One of the most memorable times of my life. Thanks Bros Isley for your music, the happiness, and the good times it has brought to all of us.
