Charles Dance is in the upcoming British gangster film "St George's Day", you should really check it out! We are on FB StGeorgesDayMovie and Twitter @StGeorgesDay
He is just so intense & sexual. Something special about a man that stands head & shoulders above everyone else in a room....and then to be so awesome as well....WOW!!
I had no idea for the longest time Charles was Locque's assistant in FYEO. Charles played a great Bond villain though lack of screen time, lines, and all. He had like one line which was "Get in..." then he's killed. That's so cool he played a Bond villain.
I found your video by just typing in Charles Dance. It never occured to me that Charles Dance was handsome until I a few days ago when I uploaded the movie Rebecca. He plays Maxim de Winter, and I thought, and so did two other women that left me a comment that Charles Dance was handsome. It never occured to any of us that he was anything more than a dark character. We never looked at him once without contempt. He's a very romantic man, and I was astonished! Thanks for the great video.
@sparkleplenty101 well, the first time I saw him was in Rebecca (no, The Golden Child but I was 12 then and didn't remember his name I just remembered the evil ginger guy). Rebecca was a revelation for me. I saw it in french and never forgot his name afterwards. Now I'm looking for anything he's been in.
And I do think he's very attractive. Not necessarily handsome, but he has an aura. He's very charismatic and his characters have a huge presence on screen, + usually a strong effect on me.
@sparkleplenty101 and I enjoy seeing him in "normal guy" roles. In american movies he's mostly restricted to bad guys, but he can do anything IMO. So, I'm thankful when I see him not as dark as he's often pictured.
Howevern he seems to have quite a lot of fun waving his gun around in LAH. I'm sure he had a blast shooting this.
But yeah, his Maxim de Winter rules (and it's so much better in english!!! WHAT A VOICE HE HAS; he just stepped in front of Jeremy Irons and Alan Rickman in my mind).
I've been a fan of Charles Dance's since I first saw him on the JEWEL AND THE CROWN in the 1980's.He's a superb actor and still looks great at age 62.
I like his accent - especially in "Last Action Hero". Since that movie was spoofing how Hollywood exaggerates things, does anyone know if he also exaggerated his accent for that film?
Charles Dance is so sexy!

Funnily enough I think he simply retained his usual accent, which by nature is very London-centric upper class. :)
