no way around it sopranos is the best thing to come off tv EVER the scripts, the characters the acting is all perfect, and so much chemistry between the actors especially tony and carmelly, sure these other shows are (definitely not putting them down) but tv is not the same and well sucks without the sopranos, but i alright i got every boxset, but i want the big silver one haha

The Sopranos was a milestone in television .. it set the bar for every show after that  ... the acting the writing everything about this show from beggining to end was perfect.... to me no other show will ever come close... i cant sit down and watch tv anymore unless its sports...beacause its just boring to me after the sopranos

Both are great shows, the wire was great every season. The sopranos really fizzled out at the end. I would have to say the wire was better.

Us as HBO fans are gonna be debating whether or not The Wire or The Sopranos was the better show. Why can't we all just enjoy both as they are? If you to ask me though, I'd say The Wire,and not just because I'm black. Many other reasons to.

Yeah, first Sopranos, second Six Feet Under, third The Wire.

All are over now and TV is now again the same as before all three started. I don't watch TV anymore now. There is nothing special and nothing interesting left there anymore.
