  • Appreciate the post of this tutorial. Was also wondering the best way to color correct just one particular color (like red) while keeping all the other colors untouched as much as possible. For instance, there was a red tie in a shot, wanted to bring out all the other colors for a saturated vibrant look, and bring only the red tie down because of the horrible blurring effect the its causes.

  • Thanks alot but is there a way to make the persons lip gray and the rest red?

  • @cky12qxz you can add a garbage matte to overlay over her lips.

  • awosome effect i did use this effect thkx for learning...

  • which version did u used it final cut pro thanks

  • Great Video tutorial

    Thank you

  • Thats a wonderful trick. Thanks

  • Excellent! Thank you!!

  • I want to do that but I only have Final Cut Express :/

  • @moviesunrated You can still do it but you need to use 2 clips, desaturate on of them with the 2 wheel colour corrector then use a chroma key on the second clip to get the reds. the guy on this cli should really show how to get rid of some of the colour bleed as I can still see some of the red coming through in her skin. Good tutorial though..

  • @trailerfitter2 Oh yeah that does work! Thanks a lot!!! I guess it isn't as good quality but I think I'll fix the rough edges with some keyframing.

  • @moviesunrated

it should be just as good but you'll need to mess about with it to make it look right FCE has nearly all the buttons.

  • Hello there sir, great tutorial! I have another question to ask however. If I want to move from black and white and gradually to color.I want the viewer to see the image changing from black and white to color. How do you do that? What do you recommend?

    Thanks a bunch!
