  • @lillenfaith thank you lillenfaith, hope you enjoyed it :)

  • LoL, yoga on a moving vehicle is a fun experience... I did a few classes on the cruise ship i was on this summer and it was very different from practicing on solid ground!! kudos to this guy!

  • @mimzywhimzy thank you mimzywhimzy... must be nice to practise on a ship with rolling of the sea... a bit more romantic than the rolling of an underground train :)

    thanks for commenting

  • that was a great idea but I would have made it a bit shorter, at the beginning at least, too long till anything happened, I wonder where else you'll be doing those. all the best :)

  • @Erifilly111 good feedback, who was with me at the me keeps telling me to shorten the videos... i can't help wanting to show more of story with peoples responses or lack of response which the fun part for me :)

  • @peacefulwarrioryoga thank you, good feedback, my daughter who was with me at the time, keeps telling me to shorten the videos... i can't help wanting to show more of story with peoples responses or lack of response which was the fun part for me :)

  • OMB! That's incredible to do headstand pose while on traveling , really impressed ..... I am just 4 months praticed yoga , hope I can do this someday , thanks for sharing ^_^

  • @tawan1963 thank you!! I'm sure you'll have many more significant milestones in your life as a yogi than a headstand on a train.. please take your time with your headstand i'd been doing headstand for many years before doing anything like this.. there is a lot of pleasure to be had from a normal supported headstand on a mat. :).. glad you liked it.. thanks for watching and commenting.. enjoy your practise

    Namaste

    Eugene

  • I don't get wh this is so amazing?

  • @sexxibhaddgirl totally agree this is not at all amazing, headstand's an easy posture if you know how. on a train not amazing either (I still don't recommend it) It's a bit of fun putting something unexpected in a different environment, very little out of the ordinary happens on London underground. My aim was to appear normal, get on, do a headstand, get off, as you say no big deal. You hit the nail on the head!

    Namaste

    Eugene

  • Very nice video and shows us we are human sometimes doing things out of the ordinary shows us that

  • @SuperMelita9 Hi SuperMelita9, i like your perspective :)

  • I love to do Yaga like roll myself up in a ball, but I haven't done it in about a decade. Well...

some, but not like I used to.

I'd say BRAVO to you! And to answer your question: NO! I never did a head stand in a train, or on top of a train, or in front of a train. lol But I have done it in the middle of the family room at my aunt's and she freaked. lololol

Thanks for sharing the video, doe-doe. lol

  • That's awesome! I got some strange looks when I did a headstand on the beach. I thought the sand was a challenge because it was a bit uneven but a moving subway would REALLY be tricky! Nicely done! Very cool! :)

  • @AnnMariePincivero Thanks for your kind words AnnMarie, i think you're right the beach can be tricky.. i know what you mean about strange looks.. i was encourage to a personal mission.. a few years ago now.. it included the line "I will not be a victim to the eyes of others" i used to often avoid things because of what people may say or think.. it's not always easy but on the big things now i tend to feel the fear and do it anyway. i subbed your channel, is that you singing :)

  • @peacefulwarrioryoga Yes. I remember hearing that courage isn't the absence of fear, it's feeling the fear and doing it anyway. So bravo for courage & yoga!

& yes that's me singing. I'm a singer/songwriter with hundreds of original songs.

One I even did standing on my head! :) (Check out "Upside Down"...)

    Namaste.

  • I love Yoga !

  • @Javaunica Me too Javaunica.. good to hear from you :)

  • @Javaunica Haces Yoga Javaunica?

  • LOL!! trust me i didn't start with headstands :) this was just a bit of a stunt for a bit of fun..

but i have been stretching on trains for years.. started out with subtle standing stretches in the corner where other passengers didn't notice.. be careful if you do try it out because it's addictive.. you're not on a mat but the yoga starts gradually taking over and you find you loose interest in passengers who might be watching.. their busy reading anyway.. :D

    thanks for your comment

    Eugene :)

  • Hahaha, I'll be damned ... XD I'm gonna pull an urdhva padmasana on the next train I'll ride... :D

  • Hey This was soo cool. Specially when the people started taking your pictures and behaved like they have not even seen you. Love it man. Keep it up. I have never done such thing. I hardy use subway in Delhi. But I think i should ... ;-)

  • @Meryog Thanks Meryog ;-) ahhh Delhi... that would be the place to do it.. it's probably the mecca for all train yogis :)) one day I'll make a pilgrimage to the sacred platforms of Delhi subway... yea you should man.. you are right there.. be sure to send us a video link when you do.. i passed through Delhi once in 2007 but didn't see any trains. great to hear from you.. namaste Eugene

  • @peacefulwarrioryoga thanks Eugene:) 2007. 4 years back. Now this country has changed a LOT. So many cars and Metro (subways) If you come again here you will see the development but the sades part is the people are not changing. People in Delhi don't do much Yoga, coz they are turning like more westerners but in a bad way. I hope to do something like you to inspire these peeps..

    Yogesh

  • kind of you bugre19.. thanks for commenting..

i've just found out i need to be in central London tomorrow :-)

might try again and aim to stay inverted through a station..

it's a slightly more advanced version of yoga on the train because it means dealing with the breaking and acceleration.. but it would be worth it to see the reaction of the passengers getting on to find a passenger already upside down... if i get the chance we'll see how it goes

    Eugene :)

  • Nice! Very impressed!
