Im not sure if you know this but there is a 3-4 player easter egg on every map that if one person lies down in a corner and you dolphin dive on him you will both go down but when some one revives you, you will here sam laugh and the zombies will have a muck better chance of giving you drops!!!!

The reason that Syndicate isnt very good for dual comm is that he starts talking about interesting stuff and then hegets distracted and stops. For that reason i prefer him to be either solo, 3 players or a full set of players for zombies.
