  • I'm really surprised that final all in bet worked. He must've either had value to call that, or no value to call your raise on the flop (especially if he wasn't gonna follow up with a bet!)   • Texas Hold 'em isn't about gambling. It's strategy and how to beat the other player. There are alot of ways to trick someone of how to make them lose. For instance you could have bad cards you trade in all your chips and he thinks your bluffin eventually he'll fold and you'll win

    He called you, which is a clear sign of weakness and then checked. He could of been trying to trap you but it's unlikely due to his sign of aggression.

    If you tighten up against him, you could earn a lot of money from him. I would love to play someone as stupid as him. Get a good hand, check and see if he raises which is likely. Wait a minute, call, wait for the river bet, or re-raise. But double check there isn't something better.
