I love my planet but I must let rational thought make my decisions. I know several thing: 1) Man's production of carbon dioxide is not causing the earth temp. to rise. 2) Any action we take, short of shutting down the economy, today will have little or no effect on total CO2 production. 3) The US could stop all CO2 production and China and India could easily fill the gap in a few years. 4) Climate is constantly changing!

What if we skeptics ARE listening to the scientists and we see that they don't all agree? What if we use our own brains and decide that if the climatology field is incomplete (according to the IPCC), if not all scientists agree (more and more information in the news about studies that say global warming isn't a crisis), and if most of the other planets in our solar system are warming as well (in the news July of 08) then maybe we conclude that it's not as big a crisis as you say.

Even if you have already decided that Global Warming is man made, you have a responsibility to watch this show "Climate of Fear", "The Great Global Warming Swindle", and read "The Politically Incorrect Guide to Global Warming" a chance. You MUST consider the other side of the debate or admit that Global Warming has become your religion. Remember... there is no "concensus" in science. This was a very good and informative show. Anyone saying there is no other side to the debate has obviously been brainwashed. There is still very much of a debate out there, but we are just not being shown it on the news. Your trying to find a balance that is not there.I lived in northeren Ontario and I have seen the effects of warmer climate first hand. And if you dont beleive we are the cause, I guess cutting millions of acres of trees, pumping endless amount of carbon dioxide does nothing. Not to mention the the amount of methane(which is 10x worse than C02) coming out of the ocean because warmer ocean temperature cannot hold the gas beneath the surface of earths creface. Your saying that has no effect.
