  • Those CZ's, Maico's and Bultaco's were badass. We used to make fun of Hodaka's back then. I remember Montessa as the ultimate trials bike.

  • Very nice classic's

  • I miss my Hodaka too. Those were fun times.

  • wow Montessa Capra. I had a '72 125cc,right foot gear shifter, left foot rear brake! The first time I took it out I got about 100 yrds. before the engine seized(& I was taking it easy). The dealership sent it back to Spain & 6 months later I got to race it for the 1st time.Raced with a friend with an Ossa 250cc Stiletto. This video f...in Rocks!! Thanks.....

  • That Montesa is positively bad ass looking. You know those are rare these days...

  • I miss my Hodaka. 155 lbs, reliable as gravity.

  • i had a vespa when i was 12 and my dick was 2 inchs.

  • LOL

  • The first motorcycles I ever rode were owned by a dude down the street. He had a Husky and a Bultaco. I think about what we used to do on those and am kinda surprised I am alive today. And again, those photos are amazing. Clymer has a bad ass photographer working for them.

  • ninjatronica, me too. I'm lucky just to have had reconstructive knee surgery and be alive! Husky, CZ, Bultaco, Maico, Ossa, Sachs, DKW, Penton, Rickman, Hodaka (Steen's Hodaka SS with Ceriani fork and rear shocks was da bomb for 100cc racing), Honda Elsinores, Yamaha YZ, Suzuki TM -> Suzuki RM, Kawasaki Green Streak ... ah, those were the days!!!

  • yeah acl for me but I am still collecting things I didn't have in my early riding days. a Hodie Superat, a dirtsquirt, a Penton 125 ISDT, an SL 100 Honda, and last but not least 16 Z50 frames
