PetesNikon is NOT required to like this song. Pierre is without a doubt my favorite guitarist over the last 25 years. At a recent performance, Pierre said he played this piece for a group of Israelis and Palestinians and it was quite a moment. Not your typical jolly Pierre stuff!

Pierre is my favourite alive guitarist and musician, but 'intuite', at least for me, is one of his less inspired compositions. I mean of course the piece, not the album, and its just an opinion, keep that in mind ;)

Pierre is many things including my favorite guitarist...but he is not a Classical guitarist. Might want to look into what makes that description different. Mostly it's about nylon strings and choice of repertoire. But very few Classical guitarists play with the creativity that Pierre has...and they rarely improvise or write their own music.

Thanks for posting this one! Pierre just played a concert here in the Florida Keys, and it was great! Pierre is a very creative and ever evolving musician, and a big influence in the evolution and depth of modern music played on the guitar today. His music though is quite independent of the instrument or tuning. Here is a man, with warmth, insight, skill and humor, expressing his musical stories freely and gifting them to the world. Bravo!

This video is another example of the depth, breadth and genius of his music and shows that in the right hands a guitar can do just about anything, including replicating the beautiful sound of the oud masters. A little late to retract earlier dumb comments; Since he is working in a Middle Eastern mode...are you an expert in that field to even know what "intonation" he's playing with? What sounds "out of tune" to Western ears are the micro tones which are not in American music. The elegance of his phrasing also seems to escape you ...but then let's look at your favorite videos; all machines and little girls in the pool (Molinee underwater).
