  • You're a good cook! I think I could bake them. I got a baking set for Christmas. :)

  • i love your whisk ..my nan had one of these and i tryed to whisk my tongue when younger ..and it hurt :/

  • I have a question

What do you do with your recipes after the end of the video?

  • @lucycoolXD It depends. I either eat them or share them with friends, or put them in the freezer if possible.

  • Tengo una pregunta

¿Que Haces con tus recetas despues de acabar el video?

  • I love chocolate chip cookie haven't made some in ages :)

  • thanks i ll definitly try that!! x

  • dear titli, how many cups is 340g of flour? :)

  • @jb99ification About 2¼

  • hello again, dear titli

i made the cookies, but it became all flat, it didnt looked like the cookies in ur video. should i use less butter??

  • @SuuziiK My cookies are flat too.

  • @SuuziiK Maybe you over-greased the pan or didn't use the rigth amount of sugar called for in the recipe, as it tends to thin out too much cookies.

  • is it necessary to chill the batter :)?

  • @moonjannatstar It helps...

  • OMG, the ending is hilarious! xD

    You are amazing!

  • Going to try these today :D

  • Ummmmmm ok

  • OHMYGAWWD I LOVE THOSE

  • she must be on crack!!!!!

but to cookies look really good

  • Thanks titli! this recipe really helped me to make lovely cookies!

  • Thanks titli! this recipe really helped me to make lovely cookies!

  • Thanks titli! this recipe really helped me to make lovely cookies!

  • dear titli,

i would like to thank you for teaching me this wonderful recipe.

following your video step by step, i managed to create a tray of delicious chocolate

chip biscuits. you are an amazing chef and i want you to keep cooking for us fans!

    thank you

  • do u grease the baking sheet??

  • @SuuziiK Not necessary.

  • Who needs to bake it! Real Americans eat the dough Mmmmm....

  • ur hand mixer is so cute. seriously!

  • Lol wats plural of rubber?

  • omg your awesome!

  • this lady is crazzziiiii LOL :D

  • is she on crack?

  • @lFantasy2010 Thankfully no. Imagine what I would be like if I was!

  • @lFantasy2010 find something else to do with your time

  • hello! i baked this last night to give as a gift for my friends who just moved to their new home! it was so yummy that my co-seminarians and I ate most of it! i left a few for the gift and i am sure they will enjoy it coz they are from gool ol US of A, Britain and Bruxelles! :) thanks for this and please keep posting videos. I am from the Philippines so I hope you can post more videos with simpler ingredients, coz we dont have much in our groceries here :(

  • very good video! could they be made into different shapes with cutters?

  • @MrCooking4kids Might be tricky - when you put the dollops in the oven the batter flows before it cooks.

  • I LOVE THIS WOMAN!!!! SOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!

  • In the US they're chocolate chip cookies, not biscuits! xD

  • in the U.S. we call the ball that you call a football , a soccer.

  • @titlinihaan does it matter if you use white sugar instead of brown sugar? :)

  • @CookiieMonsterXxX If you don't have brown sugar use white. It's OK

  • @TitliNihaan Thanks lol :)

  • @TitliNihaan Nicely done. That's chocolate chip cookie dough alright, but I think the amount of sugar you used might have been a little too much. :)

  • @inturn23 It depends on how sweet you want your cookies. I've seen recipes with much more than I used!

  • just finished -tastyyy :)

THANK YOU, pants aren't trousers at all, but Americans laughed at me so hard when I said "trousers"... you're my hero, love you

  • I CANNOT look at cookie dough like that. I eat like half before it makes it onto the tray.

  • Wait... Did I miss a joke? Fanny packs are those little bags (purses) attached to a belt, right...? I'm almost afraid to ask...

  • @OtisCallsItGood Don't!

  • My mix always turns out really brown. I think it is the brown sugar. Grr! Not attractive at all!

  • My cookies always turn out flat. What am I doing wrong?

  • @zynation How flat is "flat"? These cookies are quite flat anyway...

  • @TitliNihaan unlike yours, my cookies look like melted ice cream. The edges aren't round at all.

  • @zynation Oh! What temperature is your oven? Did you pre-heat the baking sheet?

  • @TitliNihaan the temperature was set just like yours. i didn't preheat the tray. what happens if I do?

  • @zynation Good - you didn't pre-heat the tray! Is your dough like a fudge? If it's too soft you might need to add a bit extra flour into the mix.

  • What do I do if I want crunchy chocolate chip cookies?

I'll appreciate it if you could tell me. Thanks in advance! :)

  • @SuperKnowledgeSponge Cook them for longer!

  • great recipe!.. i tried it and i found the consistency was pretty runny even thought i put it in the fridge for 1 hour, next time shud i leave it in there for longer? or use less melted butter?

  • @786afz Sometimes if the eggs are quite large you can get a runny batter. I would assess the batter once you have added the flour and sift in a little more flour to make it a bit thicker before you add in the choc chips

  • as american as apple pie pffft! and chocolate chip cookies!!!

  • That is definitely a football.

  • The chocolate chips somehow looked like rat poison! :))

  • Fanny pack lol. Me and my other half have had a good chuckle about that in the past :) Always funny how something in one country can mean something totally different in another :)

Great looking biscuits :) I hate using hand whisks though >.<

  • what does khuda hafiz mean?

  • @miss98BIEBER God protect you :)

  • @miss98BIEBER Shes muslim. its how you say bye. what she says in the beginingg is a greeting

  • I LOVE THE WAY YOU BREAK EGGS HAHAHA XD

  • Could you tell me what can I use instead of vanilla essence and baking soda?

Can I make this recipe without them?

Can I use baking powder instead of baking soda, are they similar?

    Thank you too much.

  • @Fatat22 1. Yes. 2. Without the baking soda/powder your cookies will be a bit flat. 3. You can substitute baking soda with baking powder in this recipe.

  • i dont get the last bit with the translation bit?

  • @nimarocks1 : In UK English, they dont say cookies...they call them biscuits. I am an Indian and have studied UK English so when I came to america I learnt the difference!! Biscuits are different here!!

  • I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the difference is between biscuits and cookies? I mean, these ones :3

  • @TheZarinaStannard : Just the language!! UK English and US English!! They call them cookies in US and Biscuits in UK :) hope this helps!!

  • Hmmm I'm not convinced, I've always thought there was a subtle distinction between a cookie and a biscuit. Should a biscuit be chewy? I think it should be all crunch. I want a recipe for a digestive, the definitive unarguable biscuit. Also oat cakes, can you do them?

    I like your style though!

  • I love your channel! you have such a wonderful enthusiasm! :D

  • Lol, United States of States.

  • whats a fanny pack?

  • If pudding is what we call cake, then what do you call what we call pudding?! So confusing!

  • ur old fashion mixer is very cute..:)

  • HI TITLI...

I WONDER IF IT IS POSSIBLE TO MAKE CHOCOLATE CHIP BISCUITS WITHOUT AN OVEN, OR CAN I DO IT IN A STOVE INSTEAD, BECAUSE OUR OVEN IS DESTROYED.

  • @candyloverinthehouse Destroyed? How???

I've never made biscuits on a stove and I'm not sure if it's possible or not!

  • @TitliNihaan haha! my baby cousin kind of pressed all the buttons on the oven without my family not knowing!! so it explodes! thats when we knew, i really wanna try your cookie recipe.

but i saw a stall that sells cookies and they were cooking them on the stove? oh well :)

  • @candyloverinthehouse Sounds like it's time to get a new oven :-D

  • @TitliNihaan haha yeah.. were planning to buy one

  • @candyloverinthehouse you can use a broad, deep cast-iron pan or a pressure cooker instead of an oven.

you need to start with meduim-high heat for the first 5 minutes to get the vesset hot and then lower the heat to medium-low for the next 20-25 mins for a bread dough.

  • @candyloverinthehouse there needs to be a perforated inch-high plate to keep in the bottom of the pan/cooker. The baking surface goes on top of this plate. (It should never directly touch the bottom of the vessel.

  • nom nom nom!!! im going to try and make them!!

  • ooooh they look heavenly.......

  • you r so so cute !!! :D

  • i don't want chewy biscuits i want them nice and crisp through and through...do i leave them for a bit longer in the oven?

  • I just tried to make both your muffins and biscuits and I can't for the life of me get them off the tray without them breaking or sticking :( can anyone give me some advice?

  • You re great!!!

  • I can't ignore the last section of your video. *applauds*

All this time I've been resisting giving an admiring comment

  • hahaha you are really funny and lovely!! i really enjoy your video's i love you.

  • I prefer the cookies if their baked for a shorter period. I avoid crunch at all costs. Soft and moist for me the whole way :D

  • US of states?

    United States of States? =P

  • Salam! How many biscuits can be baken with this amount of ingredients?

  • Yaaaaaaaaam

  • ok, i just put these in the fridge. lets see what comes out of this recipe

  • You also give us a regular delightful Arabic lesson ;)

  • u r the best ^^

  • I thought British called a bathroom a loo?

  • @BCCouches nah that's the toilet (loo) haha.

  • @BCCouches What Titli meant was. A bathroom is a place which has a BATH in it. Americans call a place with a toilet, a bathroom. Which doesn't make sense xD

  • @BCCouches We call it many things

  • Salam, a question. I have conventional oven but not microwave oven. Does it work with my oven at the given temperature and baking time? Thanks Titli Nihaan .

  • what does the brown sugar do? can't i just use more white sugar instead?

  • @EngelYumi Just adds a bit of subtle flavour

  • @EngelYumi Brown sugar can help biscuits be a bit more chewy on the inside also.

  • @EngelYumi : The brown sugar gives the cookie/biscuit a chewy texture.

  • Why do you sift the flour? Do you have to?

  • @sofi22ish : Yes if you want a smooth batter/mix and want to avoid any lumps or small balls of flour which are hard to break when you mix.

  • Why do we have to sift ?

  • @LoveJb81 Makes sure you have no lumps in the flour to give a better batter

  • @sonalsamson I'm well aware that different countries use different words. I am not a moron. I was just being an ass.

  • can i use instant off vanilla essent vanilla powder?

  • Chère Madame Titli,

thank You so much for this recipe! My family and friends now are "biscuits addicted"!

    Hugs from Italy :)

  • Everytime you said "biscuits" I could help but yell out "COOKIES! NOT BISCUITS!"

  • @UltimateGrobanite : She is in UK buddy and thats how they call it there!!

  • @sonalsamson i know but it's wrong in my mind lol

  • @UltimateGrobanite : I was confused too as I studied in UK English (in India) and when I came to USA it was very different even the pronunciation and spellings. :)

  • can i use other chokolade?

  • I hadn't realized you made these, erm, biscuits, specifically in our honor. Or should that be honour? Well, the cookies, oops, I mean biscuits, were so yummy that I'm making a batch (well, two batches, if I must be honest) right now. Sure to be a family favorite. Gosh, I mean favourite. Sheesh, this British English stuff is tricky! Can we just call them chocolate chip bookies and make everyone happy?

  • I agree with Titli:

That WAS a football, no matter what the Americans think!

  • Oh Titli, your recipes always work!! (Unlike Delia Smith's)

  • @titlinihaan THE SECRET INGREDIANT IS WATER!!! :D

  • @xCrazyFlippyThings Milk, actually.

  • bonjour madame titli..

this is a dumb question but i was wondering where you are from???

  • @bonjourbeaute I have a short biography on my website

  • No Titli, those were fries, and the "crisps" where chips.

    And that was doing dishes.

That was not a football, it was a soccor ball, or foreign futball.

    That was a wallet.

    Those were underwear.

    IT'S CALLED AN ERASER.

    Booger.

And... Yes. The ONE you got right was Bathroom.

  • @bunnielovesknuckles I beg to differ :-)

  • @bunnielovesknuckles : ohh please....thats what the difference in language means dear. She is British and hence uses UK English which is different from American English. Even in India they teach in UK English so I am familiar with what she was saying. When I came to America, I took some time to realise and learn the difference.

  • You are soooo awesome!!

  • Asak Titli >> can we have some low calorie fooood pleasssseeeeee.!!!! i really am looking forward to some.! i asked u the same on facebook.. but i dint get any reply :(

  • @sarahbajju Patience!!!!

  • YOU ARE SO AWESOME!! You make me laugh every time I watch you're videos! It's gotten to the point that when I look in my subscriptions I'm only looking for your videos anymore! Thank you so much for being you! XD btw thank you for teaching this hick (me) a bit of proper English lol

  • I love your channel Titli. Yes, chocolate chip COOKIES are as American as apple PIE; however, I prefer oatmeal cookies with walnuts and raisins. You might want to try them a try. Google "Vanishing Oatmeal Raisin Cookies" and add 1 cup of choped walnuts.

  • Every time I try and make chocolate chip cookies I end up eating the batter before I'm able to pop them into the oven.

  • @MephistophelesMyLord I can relate to that, but the video evidence suggests I have more willpower than you LOL

  • hmmmm.... ^^ =P

  • If those are called biscuits, what is considered a cookie?

  • @OneFeistyScorpio no such word as "cookie" in English ;-)

  • i love you soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much. i'm italian and i don't know very well english but when i see your videos i can understand all. thanks for the free lesson...i LOVE UUUUUUUUUUUU.BYE beatrix

  • I want to eat the dough, it looks so tasty.. don't know if it's so healthy; what do you think? (I'm sorry about my bad English, I'm from Germany :D)

  • @deadlyvale It is tasty, but it contains raw egg so be sure your eggs do not have salmonella in them!

  • jajajajajaja I loved this, the best vid so fa. thanks titli you just made my day *(-:

    \

  • This is a classic recipe. As long as the total volume's the same you can mix white and brown sugars however much you like. The more white sugar, the crispier it will be, and the more brown sugar the softer it will be. Full white sugar will end up with a very very crispy cookie, while full brown sugar will be very soft, almost like a muffin.

  • Isn't it weird that americans use the word bum to describe a tramp?

  • @zapthemoonbeam The different uses of words in US and UK English is a constant source of fascination for me.

  • @TitliNihaan Oscar Wilde used to say that the UK and the USA are two countries separated by a common language.

  • @TitliNihaan mine too, for being an american-german in germany, where most people learned british english and not american english :D love your show because of being a little crazy with the british english and with the massive lovely recipes :D

  • Roald Dahl uses the word fanny (meaning bum (meaning derrier)) in his poem the ant-eater. Its not just the yanks who use that word to mean bum. It's a pretty archaic use of the word but better than its current usage!

  • Yes, biscuits, the appropriate name. I am so reminded of home. Thank you for a great recipe.

  • NO Milk with Chocolate Cookies??

  • @diwanee3 Brits call it Biscuits!!

  • You mean Coookiessss.

  • COOOOOKIES not biscuits :P

  • Funny as ever.

But out of curiosity, why didn't you use a liquidizer?

  • @tinghaling what is a "liquidizer"? would that be a "blender"? or a "juicer"? and how would that be helpful for making biscuits/cookies?

  • @dsoo51

Yes, a "Bender" is another word, just something less hard work than a 'Hand Whisk'

  • @tinghaling Bender! Bite my shiny, metal...

  • @TitliNihaan

    Futurama?

  • @MephistophelesMyLord Chef Elzar and Bender are my heros :-)

  • your so funny Titli.

  • Baking tray, surely ;-)

  • I love you busy kitchen, Titli :3

  • this looks yummy. you're funny :P

  • thanx, i love choc chip cookies !!!

btw, i learn from many when u have a hard time mixing that bowl, u have to use a damp cloth n put it as a base for the bowl so u can mix n stir easily

love ur British English lessons as well... xD

  • lol i liked the idea of explaining the different use of terms at the end

  • Can i use canola oil instead of the melted butter??

  • @EveryNina I wouldn't recommend it...
