But you would be surprised how many people from Cape Verde live here and dont recognize that their island is a part of Africa. They just dont feel related with mainland anymore. Its such a shame because each time I travel trough West-Africa I'm amazed by the beauty of the country and authenticity of the way people life. You basically just instantly want to be part of Africa.
