@Videowatcher198 The fact that I wanted Atlantis to return does not mean I expect it to return. "Bring Back Atlantis" is a way to say I miss the show, not a demand. But there have been shows who have been brought back. Some with different cast, true. Beverly Hills, Saved By The Bell also had several incarnations. Knightrider is another one.

of course most of us have otherwise we wouldn't be true fans right? in fairness the movie had comedy (pah pah chicken?) but even if it didn't we have come to expect more from wright and cooper,comedy with the seriousness is a given within the stargate family and this is why universe is lacking

SG-1, Atlantis were better.

The problem with the show is too much time inside the ship, not enough out adventuring.

New species of intelligent aliens, one of them actually coming along with them...helping them out. So they can actually leave the ship for longer etc. Exploring.

SGU is so much better than atlantis . the acting on that show was a piece of shit . they have a chance explore the universe with actual aliens. all atlantis were the rubber faced wraith and the asurans.

im with everyone who liked Atlantis, it had alot more action, even more so than SG1 which is also good. this feels more like a drawn out movie or somthing...its just not as good as SGA.

@Himmlerdude The main strength of the Stargate storyline, was the story. I don't see much story beyond a bunch of drama. They don't focus on what really drove the story in the other Stargates.

stargate atlantis was awesome, especially mckay's jokes ;) i have just read some news season 6 will be never created but a cinematic continuation of atlantis series called stargate: extinction

as the title says... it might be another wraith invasion on earth, luckly without any zpm based hive ship which almost obliterated atlantis shields supported by triple zpm modules

now its time to watch universe... :)

No, Atlantis was cancelled. Joe M was already spinning season 6. The last comment i saw was for "Creative reasons" by BW & RCC. who knows what the whole story was. I just wish they had given fans the option of watching one and/or both as i find myself bored with this and have after this ep given up on the show.

Really? Personally, I found Atlantic horrifyingly boring, and gave up after first season. I find this pretty interesting. But I dunno, i'm a Star Trek fan so the prostect of being suck on a ship in the middle of nowhere is not alien to me :P

I think they just took too many ideas from BSG. In fact it has too many crossovers. They might as well have put an actual Battlestar in place of Destiny but its alright I think it fits alot better then what they did before.
