The books always appears to be better, & sometimes it is. I saw this movie before I read the book, & it inspired me to read the book.This means I thought the movie was pretty cool. I watched the movie again, after I read the book & still thought the movie was great; small things like Annabeth's hair didn't bother me much, but that's just me, & compared to other books that have become movies this movie wasn't that bad. I only hope book two is made into a movie before "Percy" starts to look 30.

Lots of people are complaining of how Annabeth supposed to look like,but she really matches the character even without blonde hair.I think in the movie she should be more tomboyish and less flirty. And people say that Percy needs to be 12 like the book but I doubt a 12 year old could act like Percy and fight,I rather have Logan.<3

I thought the movie was pretty well,good effects,just some parts wasn't like the book,but I'm satisfied.

Well, think about this: Everyone's image of the characters is different from someone elses. Maybe the casting person thought of Grover as an African American. Nothing wrong with that. And the whole "The girl playing Annabeth is not blond" thing is starting to annoy me. Maybe they picked her because she's a good actress, and the reason they didn't waste money on hair dye is so they can save for special affects. And they are older is because in the movie, they are supposed to be 17, not 12.
