This was the largest number of POWs since World War II. Pakistan lost 140,000 sq kms of area. Later Niazi blamed Yahya Khan and Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto for the surrender.

I have stayed in UK for seven years and have many friends from Pakistan. Believe me, outside their own country educated Indians and Pakistanis are the best of friends because there is so much common between us. You are young- get educated . Lot of religious fanaticism starts from poverty and lack of education.You may become either a Prof Abdus Salam or Ajmal Kasav- your choice!
