As a Shania fan I was keen to have a look at this movie. How sad that she not only looks nothing like Shania but lacks the charisma & grace that epitomises our lovely star.This "actress" knew nothing of the woman who is so much more than this movie creator & actress has portrayed.And to just stroll into a shop with someone's video camera & make some tacky comments?? This is way beyond the classy icon we love. Yuck!
i don't think she should have played Shania. I just don't see it in that actress. i would not have thought this was a shania twain movie. producers usually try to find someone who looks like the person they are trying to make the movie of. Justine Waddell resembled natalie wood and jennifer love hewitt resembled audrey hepburn. the actress did not capture shania at all. the movie wasnt all that good. and not bc it may have been a low budget film.
I would love to see the movie but I think no Shania movie will be good enough unless Shania helped. plus like Shania said she would be exposing everyone she has ever worked with. But I would love a good biographical film from past to current. It would be a perfect movie I hope she does do that eventually in her career. She has a directive type of mind and she could do it.
