  • how about next, for the blind friend, they bring a huge strobe and see who wakes up :)

  • high quality women - tiny[.]cc/whores607

  • keep it up asl for ad about pespi more.Smile!

  • anyone want to chat

ANYONE UP? I NEED SOMEONE TO TALK TO RN

  • Yes, its awesome

    I was very impressed.

In my case, I can hear and admit I take the fact the language of my society is sound one for granted.

  • i was very excited to see a deaf commercial as well! thank you for sharing your thoughts! I am hearing and i was exicited that they would share the deaf culture with the hearing culture. especially in a funny way! so thanks again for sharing. I enjoyed watching you sign. So thank you!

  • Amy, I don't care what people against us say, but I am SO happy they did something for the Deaf! Who knows? Maybe we'll have our FIRST full-length movie with deaf dialogue! Now, that's definitely marketing ASL!

  • i see your enthusiasm... i dont have any clue what you said but congrats!

  • Amy, your enthusiasm is infectious! I thought it was a very effective ad. Fun, too.

I'm not deaf, nor am I at all fluent in ASL, but I do understand what it's like to have one's culture recognized and celebrated prominently on national tv. What a rush!

  • You don't know sign language, had you known sign language, then you know what she is talking about. Suggestive??? You're the one with a sick mind! ASL PAH AND DEAF POWER TO THE FULLEST!

  • what happen no deaf commerical pepsi in super bowl last sunday

  • DO YOU KNOW HOW TO PUT SUBTILTES FOR STUPID PEOPLE!! lol!

  • Sure, as soon as you put subtitles on ALL HEARING VIDEOS for US DEAF.

  • Comment removed

  • that kind of mindset isn't helping you raise awareness for deaf cultures. To people, it looks like people waving hands really fast. Gives them no meaning. If you title things, then they could accociate it with a language, something complex

  • Yes that's how it is for us Deaf almost every single day. Hearing people's lips look like puppet mouths flapping very fast.

Difference is we Deaf encounter this pretty much every day whereas your experiences seeing sign language and being "leftout" happens significantly LESS often - if at all during your lifetime.

  • obviously you haven't used tech support or customer service these days :)

The thing with english is that it has a large base, with asl a relitive smaller base. Which is why i may have said that deaf people are disabled in this world. Because asl is smaller than most other cultures. Dont start a war with me about that. Which is why your mindset is wrong. Your not going to raise awareness. English doesnt need anymore areness.

  • The translation is in the description of the video.

  • she wants too... holy shit!

  • I liked that commercial, and my ASL teacher was very excited that they were making it too. Its nice what Pepsi is doing to bring Deaf and Hearing cultures closer.

  • UHHH, WHAT??

  • What did she say?!

  • ummm she didnt say anything...lol and it is on the side it explained it in the descriptions

  • LOL! Thanks!

  • I watched the ad on Youtube too and I was amazed. I'm not deaf but I can sign a little adn was very surprised to see a commercial with signing. Rock on PesiCo and EnAble! "Continue marketing ASL!"

  • I love this! The Deaf Community is very proud of their Culture and should be recognized. Deafness is not a disability, only those who do not see the beauty in difference are disabled! Thank you Pesi-Co!!!

  • I cant here anything, is there something wrong with the audio??

Just kidding, I wish I could sign

  • You might wanna learn how to spell, buddy. Stop depending on your hearing to spell out the words.

  • spell joke, you moron

  • most worst insult I've ever gotten... thanks for the chuckles!

  • i was really surprised to see a deaf commercial. it was awesome.

  • I wish that I had the abiltiy to understand what you were saying. As I get older I wish that I had learned asl.You rock!!!!!!!!!

  • You totally should learn. It is a valuable skill to learn.

  • i want to learn sign language and communicate to others =]

  • YAY!!!

    I understood most of it

i am taking asl in school

when i saw that commercial i got really excited and it was fun to see

  • I took ASL in school too, and at first I thought it would be a waste of my time (no offense deaf people) but then I started enjoying it and this commercial only made me love ASL more! (i got excited too)

  • What?

  • I'm so proud of this, having produced the Web videos that went along with "Bob's House" and having learned ASL from a childhood friend.

(YouTube search PEPSI'S SUPER BOWL DEAF COMEDY SMACK TALK)

And they're also on Pepsi's site.

  • okay...that was a little weird but i think it was soooooooo great that they used the camercial in the super bowl!

  • I love that this commercial was introduced as ".... persons with abilities" rather than the D-word.

Kudos Pepsi ... all of a sudden my bacardi goes better with Pepsi! ;)

  • MY favorite superbowl commericial-when I saw this- (it was actually aired in the pregame stuff) i laughed out loud-it was great!!!!!!!-I'm just sorry anyone felt the need to introduce it-it was a stand alone hit-wish it had shown again during the game--by the way no one in my family is deaf and i still got the joke:}

  • Hey!!!! I watched the whole show on FOX and see no AD of this in it at all? Why and what's going on? I had recorded the whole show but none of it has Bob's house in it.

  • She's basically saying that she is extremely glad that pepsico made this commercial and that it is the first Deaf commercial and that she is just so happy that they're putting this stuff out there. I'm in asl 3 so please excuse some mistakes in a translation.

  • I have no idea what you are saying in response to the Pepesi commerical and I do know that they did the commer... for a particular audience which is great!! the happeness in your eyes is such a joy...

  • i was shocked when they did this wonderful commercial! i think it's awesome!

  • I love this commercial too. I sent it out to my friends and family. My mom and I had some training in ASL at our local church and to see a commercial like this was fantastic. It's not only unique but extremely hilarious.

  • i think she liked it.

  • what did she say???

  • Rock on Pepsi, diversity what a cool thought

  • So very true!!!!! :)

  • Deaf are very lucky! =D if any is very noise if at night time u gonna to bed and hear any noise so deafs cant heard they just sleep and hear nothing.

( Lucky me...of course im deaf, i dont sign ASL i do English xP )

  • this one teachre in my speach class showed this to us

  • Yes! Power to the Deaf people and power to ASL! I just have the feeling that there will be more to come from other companies! Never be more proud to be part of Deaf Culture!

  • Girl!! I can feel your EXCITEMENT! I am so happy too!!! They have FINALLY done it!!

  • Great to see the sneak preview of the commercial--well done!

    Amy's comments are wonderful--I couldn't agree more.

Amy, I knew you YEARS ago when you were in Portland/Vancouver...you look great!

  • sweet ad...

    Very funny and most creative..

Liked that he said sorry to the neighbors in the end.

I still don't drink soda pop but, will remember this ad.

Thank you for putting what you said in the description area.

I really do need to learn sign language. I didn't know is was and old joke that got new light. I've met a few Deaf comedians in my time on the road.

  • Can we get some subtitles?

  • Please go and read the transcript on the "About This Video" box... its there!

Subtitles are great, but very time consuming, and can be visually distracting too.

    Thanks for watching my video!

    Amy

  • too bad to deaf people who rather giants! are you giants?? it means you are tallest or fattest??.. patriots are smarter to shoot them down..... that patriots will win... I have secret play in anywhere ... thats life.

    lol big time!!

  • YES!!!!!!!!!!! :-D

  • Fantastic! Amy's comments are great. Deaf culture will get wide exposure to millions of Deaf and hearing ppl for 60 seconds, a sense of humor and an ordinary part of life. Some ppl will get curious to learn more and talk about it. More, more! A step in the right direction: equality and inclusiveness. This is good for everybody. Me? Hearing's fine, vision's not. -- Amy and others, keep getting the word out. Thanks so much.

  • I thought so, too. I was curious about its secrecy! Shall see. One way or another I do hope it will air that commercial sometimes.. it is unusual.. I like it..

  • I thought so, too. I was curious about its secrecy! Shall see. One way or another I do hope it will air that commercial sometimes.. it is unusual.. I like it..

  • i dont see why they wouldnt. just because a person is Deaf they have no authority not to hire them, that would be illegal

  • My husband had a doubt that it would show it up on Super bowl because he says usually

Super bowl's commercial is a top secret. All he will have to wait until he sees on his own on Feb 3rd. In meantime, it is GREAT to have deaf actors. It would be interesting what people have to say about the commercial on the day of Superbowl, being in the newspapers, or even on news!

  • Just a heads up, this is an actual commercial, not a YouTube spoof. I actually work for PepsiCo and we have been talking about this for weeks now. Can't wait to see in on Sunday!!

  • It will be shown in the pre-game events.

  • The USA Today reported it as scheduled to air as well!

  • How Great!

  • Nice commercial, but stay away from Pepsi! It's instant diabetes.

  • yes ASL keep up

  • Wow, I watched Bob's house just recently. Awesome!

  • THats Sooooooo Cooool! : )

  • Your smiling keep my smiling all the way because I love ASL very much !

My wife will be excited about this because she love PEPSI and I don't love Pepsi but Cokes is champ but not often drink due to Healthy risk ! Surprised me Pepsi support ASL but what about Coke Cola ? ohh what a Sad ! lol
