I have since learned that track 2's alternative title comes from a mistake on an LP sleeve. The Kid is the correct title. Track 1 is by a completely different orchestra but is edited so badly that it sounds like it forms a medley with the second track.
Wasn't track two Graham Gill (the Pirate radio DJ)'s theme tune?

Track 2 is by André Brasseur and is also known as Holiday. I'm wondering if The Kid might be a BBC rename?
