  • i already have it on dvd

  • You can actually watch this movie for free l @ MOOV ZON ,COM g00gle the link above

  • Hey I found this movie on 97movies(.)c0m and you guys are right, it was GREAT! I love not to watch it on my television.

  • Wow I've seen the clearest video of Avatar movie at

    MOVIEHANGOUT . NET

  • this guy sucks rocks

  • fuck you

  • there IS a story bro. Cameron's trailers never do the movies justice. Avatar was one of the most amazing films I've ever seen

  • I just downloaded the leaked DVDRip of Avatar from a Russian FTP 0-day server.

The movie is kinda cool, but some of the dialoge is stupid, the soundtrack blows (reminds me of The Abyss), and the editing seems choppy in certain scenes.

I wish they'd have cut at least 30 minutes out, its too long. I don't know which scenes need to be removed since its all so tightly edited, but the story still doesn't make much sense, even with 147 minutes in which to explain it! Cameron is way better than this.

  • Non so che cazzo dici non ti capisco ma so che sono un everest di cazzate e x qst ke ti dico va a fan culo

  • that dude at the start sounds like a dickhead...wat the fuck r u yappin about its just a soddin film lol..im lookin at u jazzmin

  • this is the kind of shit that blinds us from the government so we deserve whats coming to us fema camps here we come death to all who do noy hale satan, idiots.

  • It's just a movie, don't take it so seriously. You like it, OK. You don't, OK.

    WHO FUCKING CARES.

What have YOU done lately, except sit on you ass and yap.

  • I'm not into overly emotional-ecstatic-fantasy movies but this movie looks different and REALLY effing cool!

  • This guy wanna look cool.

Anyways, I'm not an Avatar fan, didn't even know about the books, but seriously, I think the movie is awsome, There are parts of the trailer when alot of the graphics look real, CGI gets a 10, Story I don't know yet so, surprise me lol (I say it again, I didn't even know there were books)

  • this is not the stupid avatar cartoon that movie is called the last airbender and this avatar is a movie that nobody knew about it because it has been on secret and this was never a book

  • hm... I saw some comments where they said there was a book, but I might be mistaken.

BTW I KNOW IS NOT THE LAST AIRBENDER!!!!!

  • this movie has been on James Cameron's mind since 1999 but he prefer to have the story on secret so there was never a book about this

  • I hate to be base, but the only thing that interested me in that whole clip was that you could become a tall blue dude to have really great smurf elf sex with a hot alien chick in a truly exotic setting.

I mean I know people get on here n troll but my mind was thinking either I could become a virtual person or I could go live with alien paradise island smurfette.

The action looked boring and it felt like that movie trailer the new world and I don't want another civics lecture for $10

  • good review, I think the CG looks too crapy to to be mixed with live action. I hope they are still working on it

  • i wanna see the 25 Minuets of the movie NOW!!!!!!!!!

NOT listen to some guy giving his review!!!!!!!

  • At the begining of the vid it says that the link to the trailer is to the right among the description of the video.

  • I am also very underwhelmed by the trailer and CGI. But I'm going to see a preview tomorrow.

  • really weird video, i didnt really get where you are going with this. Because there is CG in the movie it should be a game? I mean hell, all Pixar's movies are fully CG, should they be games?! And for almost 3 minutes thats about everything you said - there's CG, I want a game... Tell us something about the quality of the movie itself aside from the technical stuff, mate, or at elast say something meaningful. 2 stars - "nothing special."

  • That could be just it though. If he feels the lengths they went to make this movie are pretty much pointless (for instance, I, at the moment, I ain't feelin' the Na'vi character design - almost to the point where I'm finding them quite annoying just to look at - and think that he'd probably have been better off putting make up on actors and placing them in the CG world. And y'know what, my whole impression after the trailer was that this could have been done so much better)

  • If he feels it all to be pointless then, at the moment, that means James Cameron is failing to sell us the immersive experience we all expected Avatar to be.

I mean the whole idea was that this was a film unbound by strict deadlines, tight budgeting and suits invading the set to tell Jim what to do - and all this will make for a movie as pure and uncompromised as is possible today - but I fear those combining factors alone could be what murders this.

  • P.S. Those odd looking people kinda gave me the creepers...

  • You mean the Avatars?

  • Um yeah... If it's the blue people, then yeah.

  • @theshadowfan nooo retard.... they are called navii

  • I thought this Avatar movie would be the live action version of the NICK SERIES Avatar: The Last Airbender.... LOL

  • Nope that's another movie that's currently in post-production.

  • thier was a time people diddnt care how good or shitty the cgi looked, i wish people wouldnt single out the use of cgi thies every reason why this should be a movie this looks like good ole fashioned sci fi to me and that shot of them flying dragon things taking a bite out of a soldier in a flying ship and tossing him the air looked badass lol

  • whts avatar?

  • There are two Avatar movies coming out. One by James Cameron and one by M. Night Shyamalan. The one I'm talking about is Cameron's. It's a film that has been on and off for the last 14 years.

  • Isn't their supposed to be a Avatar Day tommorow?

  • It should be soon. Go to your local IMAX and they'll show you 25 minutes worth of footage from the movie that was shown at Comic Con.

  • Sweet, Thats never really happened before a movie realese. Hope this movie lives up to the hype.

  • There's a ton of hype going around about this movie. It's kind of like The Matrix. All these mediums converging to promote a film. There's really no way that this film won't do well at the box office.

  • Yeah it should do great at the Box Office, I know I'm gonna see it! LOL!

Seriously though, I hope everybody does see, its time we had a good and original sci-fi movie this decade. Not to mention, this will probably set the special effects standard much like how Star Wars, Terminator 2, and The Matrix (Just to name a few) Did.

  • I watched the trailer in IE. There is way to much CGI, and it is very poor quality. Back in the day people didn't complain about CGI because it was very rare, and they used animatronics, clay, and puppets such as in Jurassic Park.

To this day Jurassic Park has the most realistic looking dinosaurs, because they WEREthey were puppets. Orcs in Lord of the Rings are ten times more realistic because they actually were actors with make-up and costumes... versus these World of Warcraft Night Elves.

  • Just to reiterate- This looks like a direct rip off of the Warcraft/ World of Warcraft series, and the CGI was abused. CGI will never be greater than 'real' improvisations.

The aliens look almost identical to Night Elves, the world of Pandora itself is almost identical to Ashenvale, and the story is awfully familiar. With a caveat being that Blizzard entertainment actually did a much better job of rendering everything.

It might be a good movie just because of that except for the CGI.

  • Well the CG might not look the best but the movie's all about how the 3d will look. And who knows, maybe they had to make the CG lower quality so the 3d would be more relevent. I wouldn't have a negative outlook on the movie yet considering the trailer doesn't really show a whole bunch, and plus I'm sure it looks alot better when seen in 3d. If it lives up to its word, this movie will be great.

The trailer actually kinda reminded me of Wow and Starcraft combined though.

  • I think u pretty much summed up every1s feelings on this.

  • Next time, show the video THEN your review lol, otherwise nice vid!

  • I can't show the video due to copyright. I did provide a link to the trailer in the description field.

  • @theshadowfan:

Thanks, but for some reason it says "Video cannot be found" on your site. Am I the only one having that problem?

  • I see it now too. Maybe they removed it. I've updated the post with a new link going to Apple's Trailers page with the trailer.

  • Thanks man! It's working :)

  • Enjoy!

  • Either the trailer has been pulled, or every server handling the trailers have been swamped. I've gone through drudgereport links, the apple link, the official website... none of them work.

  • @Starry2000:

Really? The Apple site he gave us seems to be working for me

  • Nope, the apple link isn't working for me. Whenever I go to view the trailer it tries to load but it stops and there is the quicktime symbol and a question mark :/

Maybe its because I use firefox.

  • @Starry2000:

I used to use Internet Explorer, then moved to FireFox and it's the best. Recently I used Google Chrome and it's hands down the fastest of the three.

  • What was released today is not the trailer, it's more like the teaser trailer.

  • I personally think the CGI looks great. I think the only reason people are saying it looks "fake" is because we already know that. They have driven into our heads already that everything is fake. Had they not done that, people would be saying..."Wow I wonder if that's CGI?"

  • I think it's partially because of the worlds itself. Pandora isn't Earth. Pandora features bright and vivid colors all around the planet. So these color tones don't make for a photo realistic world, but it still will be a beautiful one at that.

  • From what I saw, I just wasnt feeling it myself either. The CGI looks just that, CGI. It pulls me out of whatever the story is intended to be just from the visual component, and film is a VISUAL medium, so if its screwing up right there, I dont think i'll be able to get into it.

My personal opinion is that Camereon probably over cooked this bird, and thats a shame. This all feels like a construct specifically for a gimmick. Camereon needs to get back to the basics I think, just tell stories.

  • Just to add to this, I want to point out, im not hating on this film. Not at all. Im a big Sci Fi geek, and I love just about everything James Camereon has done. So its not that im being a killjoy or a hater. There's just something about this whole thing that seems off to me somehow.

  • Cameron has always been about pushing cinema to its next stage, but I don't know what that next stage is with Avatar.
