Also I may add is that Western countries such as America and England, (MEDC'S) took ages to develop from the early 1900's. The rate India is going, I'm told even in the past 6 years it's changed rapidly. By 2040 it will sit at no3. of the worlds largest economy.

I'm British but my roots lie in India. What annoys me first of all is that India is a massive massive country, yet the West only focus on the slums, particularly Dharavi. The opposite can be said for Bollywood film makers, they try and copy the West and don't bother about the slum kids.I've been to India (North) and none of it is like this. It was actually like England, exceptions to the people, and perhaps a bit more dirt. Yes, McDonalds exists, and so does the Internet.

Why does Al Jazeera journalists like Mike, who travels all over the world including India, reporting on tough issues is never critical about the state of Qatar or its government...
