Well for starters he's running for president and has been calling for an April 2007 withdraw date for some time. Obama talks and talks and talks about how he was against the war from the start, but what is he doing now to end the war besides speaking? Hillary is at least putting pressure on the pentagon to start planning for a fast and safe exit strategy.

Well for starters he's running for president and has been calling for an April 2007 withdraw date for some time. Hill has actually navigated her war stance towards his and until this year she really kinda was Bush-lite on Iraq. Like bush she has no qualms about preemptive warfare and unlike Edwards she's never truly apologized for her vote. To me her anti-war position is only for the sake of the primaries.

Very good point. Also, what really Hillary did as US senator for the people of New York? If she was unable or reluctant to do much for New York State what make you think she is gonna do anything for the people of the entire United States? I used to like her as the "first lady" and I had lots of respect for her for sticking to her husband after Monica Lewinsky scandal but now... I am sorry, I can't say that I trust her.

How stupid is he to think you can know how to exit a war before it starts. War is not so simplistic, and when you are constantly fighting within our own country when the President's opponents only want to see him fail. Remember if Bush would had done well in this war(even if the Dems voted with Bush) the Dems would not smell victory for a long time. I was just watching Barack Obama Senior Strategist on Hardball.. He was just hammered by Hillary spokeman. Barack needs to put people out there that is as aggressive or even more aggressive than the spin machines.Obama guy just could not have gotten much in on that debate and if these guys represent Obama on hardball or anywhere else they need to be aggressive to get the message out.

of course you should have contingency plans for a big decision like going to war. any form of management, whether business or national government, whom implement some form of action plan, also set down targets and standards, and down the track, as part of quality management, these leaders reflect on their achievements. To say we should go to war without some exit strategy is ridiculous - just as ludicrous as the bush administration itself.

Obama is definitely the way to go. He had the foresight that the war was a mistake in the first place. He will use similar foresight coming from his intelligence and rational thinking to restore our standing with the world and diffuse the tension in the middle east. Also, he isn't taking any money from special interest groups so he won't owe any favors. At the same time he was able to inspire and unite a record amount of people to donate to his campaign, shattering all previous records.

I understand your point; I guess I am looking for someone who will also reverse Bush's tax breaks, given to large companies. The tax brks were to be an incentive to re-invest into the US and create jobs. But companies outsourced the jobs to other countries. I want tax brks 4-the low and mid class, and these companies be held accountable. Obama has yet to comment on these issues. Saying that you will raise the min.wage is useless, as it requires Congress- therefore; I see his statement as a lie.

Obama, while you have been Illinois senator the cost of gas (4-homes) has gone up almost 30%, electric bills have gone up almost 30%, phone bills have gone up almost 30%. While you were supposed to be at work- working for us, you were on Oprah promoting your book. In Illinois, cars older than 95 are no longer required to test emissions, Chicago schools are in severely poor condition, and the list goes on. If you can't handle the job of senator, why should anyone vote for you?
