Great renditioning of a classic song but does anyone have the version by Crispian St Peters? Has anyone heard of Crispian St Peters? Go Hank, you were great....
Used to go to your club at Toul Depot, that was a few years back but still seems like yesterday. I was at Chaumont AB in 1959 and Toul Rossier in 1966. DeGualle booted us out of France both times, Bless his heart for being grateful for us liberating France for him.

Truly one of the all time greats! Hank earned his way by singing in bars and joints and small town dances etc before making the big time. It was a pleasure meeting the man and enjoying his music back in the '50's. After his popularity waned here in the states he was still appreciated and performed concerts regularly in Europe until the last decade of his life. RIP Hank.
Talking of the 60s, I saw him at Toul Rossiers AB in 1966. And it seems like yesterday. It was such a pleasure to see these folks when you were stuck way out in the middle of nowhere doing your service for Uncle Sam.
Hi Dude, I was an MP at Toul Depot the night he stopped at the MP Station to ask directions out to Toul Rossiers. We tried to talk him into just coming to our EM Club instead! I never saw him perform in person, but he sure was a nice guy that night.
Love this----love the oldies
