  • I dedicate this song to my ex-husband who was Persuaded time and time again.

  • I think this is just about the best vocalizing I have ever heard from Hank Locklin. 5stars.

  • Great renditioning of a classic song but does anyone have the version by Crispian St Peters? Has anyone heard of Crispian St Peters? Go Hank, you were great....

  • great song thanks

  • what country singers were meant to sound like - great

  • @loydkoh826 wish there were more singers like this now a days

  • Used to go to your club at Toul Depot, that was a few years back but still seems like yesterday. I was at Chaumont AB in 1959 and Toul Rossier in 1966. DeGualle booted us out of France both times, Bless his heart for being grateful for us liberating France for him.

  • His style of singing and his Irish accent, left a mark in country music.

  • Oh how i searched for this song all over. I came upon it by accident on youtube . Thank you very much for the memories

  • Truly one of the all time greats! Hank earned his way by singing in bars and joints and small town dances etc before making the big time. It was a pleasure meeting the man and enjoying his music back in the '50's. After his popularity waned here in the states he was still appreciated and performed concerts regularly in Europe until the last decade of his life. RIP Hank.

  • A country music gem.

  • Talking of the 60s, I saw him at Toul Rossiers AB in 1966. And it seems like yesterday. It was such a pleasure to see these folks when you were stuck way out in the middle of nowhere doing your service for Uncle Sam.

  • @dudeinala

Hi Dude, I was an MP at Toul Depot the night he stopped at the MP Station to ask directions out to Toul Rossiers. We tried to talk him into just coming to our EM Club instead! I never saw him perform in person, but he sure was a nice guy that night.

  • Terrific! Hank was one of a kind.

  • He sang some beautiful songs. He left us quite a gift.

  • love this song..Thank you

  • This take me back to the 60s for reasons I dare not mention. Bill

  • Terrific photos! Where has country gone?
