Whenever I see a rocket launch to the ISS I think "what a waste of money" I'm sorry but I just don't see a use for it! What's the point? Apart from being a massive money drain on NASA that is. Like Shuttle the ISS should be scrapped and ALL funds be spent on Orion and future manned missions into outer space. If the station reaches 2020 when it's scrapped people will ask what on earth did it achieve? So come on someone tell me why we should keep it because NASA doesn't know!
Damn it NASA, now I have to go be a cosmonaut!! Thanks a lot for ending our space program! Whether it was the govt, NASA, Obama, or whoever... THANKS!! -_-
@Zayin1993 No one ended the Space program, JUST THE SHUTTLE PROGRAM. There will be several new vehicles developed by NASA in the next few years. Not to mention what the private sector is doing which is far more amazing. GO SPACEX!!!
Believe it or not this is the most exciting time for the american space program.
You don't have to be a cosmonaut. In fact if you can wait another 5 years you might be able to be a tourist.
@baillou2 Exactly, NASA develops new SLS rocket, stronger then Saturn V and Orion spaceship has being tested several days ago. Besides of that we can´t to forget mention robotic probes all over the solar system. I am confident, that next decade will be for space program probably most interesting, from the end of the Apollo program.
Thank you so much for posting this. I'm going to share THIS one on Twitter. I'm just so stunned by that wide view of the launch pad. The image sticks with me.
