that was a great episode! I haven't seen so much emotion from Foreman in a long time. There were two senseless deaths in the episode and that's what really happens in real life some people die for no reason. Like Taub said in another episode, suicide deeply affects the people around the person. There isn't always a reason for death like House desperately wanted. Mourning & remembering the person is the best solution.

In some ways this really is a good way to push the series forward because the suicides I've known of when I was in college happened to students I'd never imagine would take their own lives. Kutner's death is an example of that idea. I still can't believe he's gone, he really is a favorite character of mine when I watch the show.

Kal Penn actually spoke at Montana State this past Wednesday. He said the writers said that Kutner's death was both a way for him to get out of the show (to work for Obama) and to show that there are some mysteries that even House can't solve.

He also said that like two of his friends texted him to ask if he was really dead. He said his reaction to that was "first, do you really think I'M dead, and second, why would you TEXT me that question?"

Kutner's a lot like House. They were both intelligent. Both had a lot of pain and suffering in their lives. Yet Kutner turned out to be this nice, likable guy while House was... Well you know what House was. To be honest, I didn't realize how much I loved the character until... He was gone.
