Hope all the people involved with this got my message. So far the Sephiroth has agreed to be in it...now I just need to know if the voices for Cecil and Cloud will be interested in my little..project :D

in all seriousness... BEST Cloud voice i've heard from a fandubber. most people try to give him too much emotions and almost everyone who voices him sounds like johnny young bosch to me. nice original voice that can cloud over (no pun intended) steve burton's version. just the right emotions and the voice is splendid. the country accent really suits him. perfect man. 10/10

I remembered your old cloud and then listening to this. wow. huge. improvement. unique and completely pleasing to the ears! I know you got an ff8 dub going on but why don't you dub ff7 while your at it too? Sephiroth here was great too! Cecil as as well! great job!

And for Sephiroth, WOW. Daman, I jumped when i herd your voice for him, I was in awe when i herd your voice for him.

I thought all the voice performances were good. I personally enjoyed listening to this. I love the music selection, except for the last piece. It was Tifa's theme, I'm sure. I dunno... it felt very... off. Like it didn't belong. =/ I think the world theme would've been better.

I love the country boy feel Cloud has here, I loved Cecil's voice too, how soft and gentle it was. It matched his character very well. Firion, well, he was just awesome. Seph's chuckle at the end sold me. ;D

@LovelyMyko thanks! I based it off of what he said. "the one i really want to meet is..." basing from Duodecim he was talking about Tifa. at first there was no music. I used the theme to suggest who he was talking about. I would've put Aerith's theme if i hadn't played Duodecim. :)

@christiansekhanan Hmm... interesting concept. Honestly, though, I don't think he remembers Tifa in the first Dissidia, but I haven't played Duodecim yet, so I can't say for sure. I always assumed it was Aerith he wanted to meet, since "meeting each other" is a constant theme between them.

Does it say he remembers Tifa in Duodecim? o.O

@LovelyMyko their meetings return as they win more battles, something Golbez confirmed himself. Well of course everything is just suggestive. Probably in the Aussieroth version of this I'll give him an alternate theory and put Aerith's theme instead. :)

@christiansekhanan Ooooh, I see. So that's what Golbez was doing. I see, I see, everything is making sense now. A friend of mine told me that since Cloud joined Cosmos at the end of Duodecim that his memory was wiped clean and only the victors of the cycles keep their memories. It's suggestive because SE likes to keep things up to interpretation. XD Oooh, if you did that I'd feel like it was dedicated to me, I'd be one happy clam. XD A girl can dream. <3

Crehavos... Ok, now I saw you Sephiroth in action, and I can only say this: You did what George Newbern isn't doing with Sephiroth these days: PORTRAYING HIM!!! I thought a line or two was a bit flat (forgiveness could have been a bit more taunt mixed with spite. He does thrive on Cloud's agony) but overall... Well, I'm a big Sephiroth fan (hence my title) and I love portraying him inside and out but I will not say that you suck because you're not me XD. I speak the truth: you're awesome as Seph

I love your rendition of Sephiroth as well, and it's just as flattering to hear someone who has a portrayed the same character originally to commend an impressionist so fondly. Yeah, I am not totally satisfied with my performance in certain lines, but I do appreciate the critique because I use it to change and improve those certain areas. So MAHALO BRADDA! ;D

Sephiroth is very complex, and you handled him wonderfully! You truly did.

I will admit, nearly since the start i never liked Newbern's take. Just so shaky for me. Too much rasp and forced and... just lifeless. Granted he really wanted Vincent and never wanted Seph (apparently)

@LordCrehavos But if that's the case, give it to someone who badly wanted the role! Crispin Freeman auditioned THREE TIMES!!! look up Hellsing Ultimate Panel, in the fourth part you heard him say two lines as Sephiroth. It's practically an English Morikawa.

That said there are only two Newbern-esque Seph's I like, 1: You 2: RemovableAspirations. Because you make it work. Mate, even if there was a dud line or two, the important lines were still there. brilliant! I WANT TO SEE MORE SEPH FROM YOU!

And George wanted Vincent? ...hm...yeah, that voice would probably work. I think if the director was actually harder on him, he'd probably make a better Sephiroth than he is now, but...ah well.

@Xyrsk Naaah, the director wasn't Jack Fletcher, it was some... something Butz. Don't know or care that guy is awful. Jack has a clear mind when it comes to voice direction. Jack probably would've made George Vince, Crispin Seph and Phil LaMarr Rude.

He actually made Sonic fun to listen to (and considering 20 years [in my opinion] of the VAing the character got, that's quite a feat, props to RCS too). Robert Bohultz...I don't know if he's lazy or he's just in it for the money, like Crehavos said.

@Xyrsk All the people that seem to be good in his dubs are if the character actually clicked (Prishe), had long term experience with the character already (Sora, Riku, most of the Disney VAs), or they're just generally experienced actors (Master Xehanort, Eraqus, and several others).

@Xyrsk wow! you guys turned this place into a discussion page! haha! well let me join in. according to a lot of the VAs of Dissidia, there were more than one voice director and they did their lines line-per-line with direction in between each take. this kind of kills the fluidity. the scenes in themselves were oddly spaced. I think its just a classic case of "two many heads" in the projects' voice directing. might as well have one "decent" director than 7 great ones with different minds. XP

@Xyrsk Laura Bailey mentions it in one of her autograph signings at a convention. She said they had to deliberate for each line and recording for a 1minute clip took hours. they would record a line, she would then be asked to wait, the "voice team" would talk amongst themselves for around 10minutes or more then come back and ask her to do it again or go on to the next line. :P

...Well Christian, this new take on Cloud is quite fine. I like it a lot. of course there's still a bit of Steve in there but you make it more your own :). That i applaud you for, especially since it worked out very well.

Dugan: Not too bad. The3rd is on to something though, something was missing, but your voice fits him and with a bit of practice, you'll OWN Cecil! Probably more than Yuri even ;). I want to hear more of you as Cecil!

DuganZ777:There was something off. I can't tell if it was like that in the game as well, or something was just off. The voice is not inappropriate, mind you. That I thought was very fitting. What was a bit off was that you sounded like you were reading a script, not enough of you came through. A bit more feeling and you'd be just right of the role. For all I've said though, make no mistake you make a find Cecil. I do hope to hear more from you, besides you can only get better right?

Christian: Your Cloud is originial, and you know how much I like that. The spirit of what Burton brought to the character, and your own on top of it. As always you brought the character to life as well as always.

As for this performance, its interesting to hear a large amount of George but just enough of something else to make it unique. Moreover you're deliveries were dark and menacing (even more so than Newbern). i look forward to hearing you in more.
