It is staggering to listen to the fools on the left claim some similarity to libertarianism, which envisions a much smaller role for government. Socialism has been tried. As indicated, Hitler was a devote socialist, & his party, the National Socialist German Workers Party, was likewise dedicated to the socialist cause.
It is not so surprising at all to see socialists fight amongst themselves. After all, it's class warfare from the bottom to the top. Hitler felt that he had the best socialism, & that the rest were inferior products, because they didn't include nationalism & race.
Those with sharp minds see through socialism, to the tyranny on the other side.

One of the few benefits of the Bush administration, perhaps, is the lack of attention it put on Latin America, helping countries like El Salvador to throw off U.S. backed regimes. Looks like "just leaving Latin America alone" might be a good US policy for Obama to follow up upon.

there were more than two parties, the thing is that according to the TSE, those parties who don't certain number of votes could be excluded from the TSE lists as a parties and they knew they didn't have enough voters so they decided to withdraw from presidential elections, but not from Alcades and Diputados elections. (there are more than 2 parties)

If you are so insistent on national autonomy as the goal, they why are you so quick to shit on this INCREDIBLE step taken by the Salvadoran people to free themselves from 500 years of foreign influence from Spain, a landed oligarchy (that still looks Spanish to this day), and the United States. A relationship that has left the country with destitute poverty, 80,000 dead civilians, constant insecurity, and little dignified opportunity for its people beyond producing export goods for foreigners.

The people of El Salvador are not freeing themselves from anything, but rather are willingly shackling their own feet. It is staggering to listen to the fools on the left claim some similarity to libertarianism, which envisions a much smaller role for government. Socialism has been tried. Many, many, many times, & has killed millions upon millions of people.
Look at Chavez in Venezuela. Still well liked, but his goon squads beat on people who get out of line, and he's a dictator for life now.
