I remember when I went to battle with over 4 thousand archers fully upgraded against a poorly trained infidel army of 3 thousand light infantryman with only the comander upgraded. I mowed them down before they got close. So then when I ran out of arrows I told them to charge at the infantryman. They imeaditly routed the poor bastards. Ahhhhh...glorious!

probabaly a bit inflated hahaha still pretty amazing tho there were a couple of other enormously crushing victories the crusaders gained everyone tends to forget saladin was a commander but not the flawless one shown in films etc. the reason for such a crushing victory was the crusaders were hardened diciplines troops most had marched to the holy lands and so were super fit. They were originally the kings select retinue too xD

sos should have specified further the individual kings of each faction eg. england france holy roman (german) each king had their select elite troops and baons etc. that would go to the holy lands with them where they would be under the command of the king of Jerusalem who was elected by a council usually made up of hospitallers and templars. hope this clarifies xD

This is comes from Persian origin the instruments are used by both Persians and Arabs but no Turks, but after the Moors used it in their campaignes in Spain and Portugal and other parts of Africa. Persians used the music which is half way through the song and so did the Moors

The infedels are actually in my opinion one of the coolest races to play, but then again I love all the Kingdoms: Crusades factions. I'd have to rank them: Kingdom of Jerusalem, Egypt, Byzantium, Antioch and Turks. They are all really close though. I really don't like the Eastern-Northern European factions all the way to Asia, (Hungary, Poland, Russia,) etc. I'm ranting.
