I agree that RE5 didn't seem like a RE game, but the series is also known for its cheesy dialogues, not so much with voice acting. RE5 was also laughable. I still can't get enough when Chris yells "WAIT!" when Irving takes off with his ship. Dumbass.

The thing is though, that 5's at least better than the crap 4 gave us and it continues the story in a way that actually matters.

Also, RE4 wasn't bad because it didn't have zombies. Zombies were never even needed in the first place as they're just accidents of T. RE4 sucks as an RE game simply because the script is possibly more embarrassing than 1's, the story's the worst of the main series, it has the least relevance of the main games, and it has nothing to do with the legacy of the Progenitor Virus which is what the series is.

RE4's script made me wanna tear my ears off at times. And don't tell me I could skip it, cause the first time you see it you have no idea what to expect. It may have had its cheesy moments but the thing is, it didn't even try. The others always tried to be serious. 4 was just embarrassing to watch.

The story didn't even try to be a main story! There was no connection at all to the Progenitor Virus! It was just a straight-up action-fest.

yep i know what it was. DS extraction amazing graphic for a wii title, same for RE:TDSC. The thing that makes DS:E for me is probably the voice acting and the fact that the characters lips move to form the words they are saying instead of looking like a goldfish like they do in RE:TDSC during gameplay, plus the cutscenes in DS:E are in realtime and use the game engine. All that makes it more immersive. Anyway both still great games and im glad i bought them, RE 0 on wii 2010, cant wait.

Hm, i played through this game, and a few things ticked me off, it seemed to short, RE4 seemed really long and it took me 10Hours to complete, which is less time than the guy said THIS takes to complete, i didnt know it was an on-rails shooter so walking aroung without control was meh, also the camera did get a bit to shaky at times.

good review but there's a lot of games on the Wii that have good graphics. Wii Sports Resort is even beautiful. Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles is a blast to play and very nostalgic. RE2 and CVX are some of my favorite games of all time and RE2 is my favorite in the series.
