Great, great dancing, but I doubt these were actual soldiers! These are professional dancers dressed in uniforms; dancing like this requires many years of training.

About NATO / US: I am sure there are proficient dancers in their armed forces, but I do not believe that their troops get the required time off to form dance formations, nor do I believe that Soviet regulars received such special treatment (please, correct me if I'm wrong!)
