When I saw that this was not the origonal, I was going to find a different one, and the comments made me what this video. I have a tear in my eye cause of laughing. I read that Baron Bomburst was not in Ian Fleming's original book but was created by Roald Dahl for the film. Now, Roald Dahl was an RAF pilot in World War 2. Knowing the film of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang quite well and having read a couple of biographies of Herman Goering I'm fairly sure that Roald Dahl used Goering as the basis for Baron Bomburst. The name alone is a clue.

@Cool2BCeltic Ian Flemings book had none of the Vulgaria stuff in it. Between Roald and Ken Hughes it was added. I think the chu chi scene was likely added by Ken who had just finished drop dead darling where a number of very attractive women are killed including Anna Quayle (the baroness)
