Oh can I relate! I just got into Tallulah like 5 months ago. I often ask myself as well where was I when she was alive?
You compare Tallu's voice here to how it sounded a mere twenty something years later...emphesyma destroyed it. So sad!

I've loved her since I was a kid. It's taken me years, but I've found three books on her, one she wrote herself. Fascinating lady, I'm glad others appreciate her too!

@marisol1289 I discovered her when I was approx. 14 ("Lifeboat"!), fell within four or five seconds in love with her and this lasts to the present day (2011-05-03). Now I am 52 years old. The only way to take out her of my mind is to blow my brain out with a shotgun ... Completly adicted and devoted ...
