when grease was re-released in 1998, they plastered the original blue mountain logo with this one (same for ending credits). The blue mountain logo would return in the grease sing along re-release, although instead of gulf and western its Viacom. Maybe paramount should bring back blue mountain for its 100th anniversary.

Nickelodeon in reality is owned MTV, and MTV owned several diffferent stations under Nickelodeon. Viacom brought MTV in 1995. MTV had Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, VH1, MTV, and a few other stations as well. However, I think Viacom split Nickelodeon and Comedy Central into their own separate brands after the pruchase. Could this purchase had affected the fate of Nick, possibly.

While the two studios did collaborate on Titanic, both also have their major sci-fi franchises that are rivals to each other: Paramount has Star Trek (now mostly owned by CBS, but Paramount still has film and DVD rights), and Fox has Star Wars (technically from LucasFilm, but Fox distributed the trilogies)
