Seriously whoever hates this film are cynical. What I liked about this film is that I like how your man Landon starts off as this cocky moron who doesn't give a damn about anyone only himself,he starts to fall for a girl who he knew since childhood he falls for her she changed him into a caring protective guy who stood by her until she died. Why can't men not be like that in real life why oh why??.

I am sure that not what you are intending though :). There are many great guys out there, however, in local terms, they are few and far between.
