This song makes me think of the original games, the ones before 3d. Those were the greatest Final Fantasy games, after VI it went downhill. VII was good, but INCREDIBLY Over rated, and the characters could have been better, VIII had the worst plot twist i've ever seen, IX was just as over rated as VII, I wanted to shoot Yuna and Titus by the end of X, XIII was good, but would have made a better movie, and could have had a better battle system. And XIV was just an abomination. Period.

Last Remnant was actually pretty good as far as Square games go... At least they tried to do something new with the battle system, and it was decent. They just seem to have had no idea how to program things to work well on xbawks/PC.

Sakimoto created a wonderfully atmospheric soundtrack for XII, and with XIII, Hamauzu proved that he has way more range than I ever thought he did (even though I loved his work in X). Uematsu's tunes are just so *hummable* though :)

Actually, it's not only from FFV. It's one of the main themes of FF.

In FFI it appears when we cross the bridge, for example (at least in the GBA version :x and as far as I remember). And it also plays in the intro movie of FFIV, FFXII and FFXII Revenant Wings.

All Final Fantasies have the Final Fantasy Prelude in them, including Final Fantasy X. Each version is different though.

Final Fantasy X did not have this song, nor an arrangement of it for that matter because nobuo didn't contribute much to the Soundtrack of X except for Otherworld that was preformed by Bill Muir, along with possibly some others that are slipping through my mind. All the FF games (except the X series) have this song (I don't recall VII having it tbh) even FF XII (it was the only soundtrack that Nobuo contributed to the game, being that the opening theme). But it it started with FF, not FF V.

I wouldn't have said that without doing some research to make sure I was correct. Final Fantasy X has the Final Fantasy Prelude, it's a remix. In fact, it's track 3 on the Official Soundtrack.
