I was there on June 3rd, 1996, seeing KISS perform at Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Missouri. The opening act was Alice in Chains, and it was the last performance of Layne Staley with AiC. KISS was greater by far that night with Peter and Ace than they are today. No contest.
