  • great video. im going to ontario for some pike fishing so i figured a zara spook would be a good addition to the taccklebox.

  • GR8 MEMORIES...STONER LAKE IN THE HIAWATHA NATIONAL FOREST OF THE UP OF MICHIGAN...MANY NORTHERN PIKE CAUGHT ON EITHER RED OR BLK DARE DEVIL LURES...GOOD EATING...ALWAYS 30-38 INCHES...LOL!

  • What lake was that ?

  • what time of the year was this ?

  • I really want to try this in my local muskie/pike river, the collins river in tennessee, I've heard they are some seriously hard fighting fish, and that they are the fish of a life time. about how big of a catfish would it take to equal the power of a pike? cause the only big thing I've ever caught was a 20lbs catfish, and those are bottom fish so I know that the pike will dwarf that power. I've heard they can put out almost 3x as much of a fight as a catfish

  • how deep was the water you used the zara spook in

  • @Cwalker1133

    about 4 to 6 feet

  • what were you using for the notherns- i have had a lot of luck with daredevils and pencil plugs

  • @Heatherann1010 This was a topwater lure called a Zara Spook. Other than that, we catch many of them on Mepp's Bucktail Spinners and Rapalas.

  • @Heatherann1010 daredevils are beast i caught my first pike at a fishing derby and won! but it was orange with black dots. they work great!!

  • i have never fished for pike but it looks fun

  • Nice video

  • theres nothing better than a pike on topwaters! great video keep it up
